Ok, I love Paizo, honestly I do. If I didn't, I wouldn't have bought four core books for Pathfinder RPG (1 subscription, 1 ordered from Paizo, and 2 pre-ordered from Amazon).
Unfortunately, I now have the sad duty to give Paizo an official Epic Fail Raspberry.
*PPPPHHHHHHHHHTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!*
Paizo has allowed something that no self respecting online store can allow and still hold their head up high.
They have allowed Amazon to beat them delivering product to their customer. :(
Pre-Ordered my PFRPG books from Pazio the day they started allowing them. Two weeks later, pre-ordered 2 more books from Amazon as gifts. When the subscription option appeared, subscribed and had my pre-order moved to my subscription.
Paizo - Shipped my subscription on August 11th per e-mail.
Amazon - Shipped my subscription on August 21st per e-mail.
Both shipped via USPS (Free shipping option even from Amazon).
Amazon's box arrived today, August 26th, 5 days.
Paizo's box is still MIA, now 13 days.
This is a sad sad day. :( No company should ever allow Amazon's free shipping to beat them to the customer. I expect someone from Paizo to commit sepuku on webcam to expunge this shame from their honor.

Interesting...
I'm in Florida... and my book shipped the 11th as well. And arrived in two days. (Granted... I had to pick it up from my local post office the third day because my grumble grumble lazy postperson wouldn't walk it to my door because it was raining.)
Unfortunately... Paizo has no control over what the USPS does with the package once they hand them off.

Mine shipped from Kentucky (answering previous question) also, which is closer than Washington.
Don't get me wrong, I agree, they can't control the USPS, although shipping the 11th for arrival on the 13th was a bit of a hail mary on the warehouses part. :) The key though is that both company's shipped via USPS. I'm not sure why Paizo can't track their packages, since Amazon can (both sent via USPS).
I don't think it's any more expensive, and I'd be happy to pay an extra bit to get tracking data (or at the very least have the option to).

Did you read this on your shopping cart link?
Paizo will be moving our offices and warehouse during the last two weeks of August. We will endeavor to ship your order out in as timely a manner as humanly possible, but you may experience delays of a week or more over our normally scheduled ship times as we pack and unpack the entire warehouse. We apologize in advance for any delays you may experience and thank you for your patience as we undertake this herculean move. Thanks much!
-The Paizo customer service and warehouse teams
A comparison between Amazon and Paizo is somewhat erroneous since they're companies of vastly different sizes, serving different niche markets, with different distribution paths, processes and budgets.
Have you contacted customer support? Have you used the tracking code to see where your package is? Paizo's service is very responsive and I'm sure they'd be happy to help. Not to be rude but I'd be doing that instead of posting this?
In America were accustomed to fast food, this is publishing. Dark humor aside, I'd recommend a little more time and patience?
