New racial trait for Half-Orc (yes, another thread)

Homebrew and House Rules

Hi im new here, and before you flame me, i could not find another thread, in which i thought this would be of any relevance.

Now, for the trait.
I personally found the Half-Orc without any real supstance, trait wise anyway, as the only "special power" trait (Orc Ferocity) just felt a little lackluster, and i must add, pointless, as it is very situational, when you look at some of the other race traits. (same can be said of humans, but thats not what this is about)
So i sat down and thought another/new trait up for the Half-orc, and i wanted your esteemed opinion.

And here it is:
Strong Stature: Half-orcs are generally bigger than the other races and therefore count their strength modifier as 2 higher, when calculating encumbrance.

Is this too overpowered? too weak? should i keep Orc Ferocity or remove it? what do you think?

(sorry for bad grammar or spelling, english is my second language)

Nothing? i could use some advise, please dont be shy!

That's a pretty cool little trait there (and could even be a Trait, in the Pathfinder sense of the word, that anyone could take). You could even have that add to Strength checks, and it would still be reasonably well-balanced as an additional racial feature of half-orcs.

Given the artwork, I've always wondered why half-orcs don't have a bite attack for 1d4-ish...

Yep, It's pretty well balanced even if you keep Ferocity. My only concern is that extra carrying capacity kind of steps on the dwarf's toes - they're the traditional mules ;).

That looks like a great Trait!

In the game Im playing in, the GM gave Half Orcs a "Fast Charge" ability, allowing them to add 10 feet of movement on a Charge. They also have a recovery ability that allows them, when they are Fatigued, to make a Fort Save DC 20 to recover from the Fatigued condition.

Im going to ask the GM if he'd be willing to consider either adding this to Half Orcs, or allowing it to be bought as a Racial Feat or something.

Thanks guys, much appretiated.

Trait (Half-Orc)

Think I'll incorporate that one.

Hmm, yeah. I llike this. It gives a little back to the Half-orc legacy of being a strong race. As for steping on the Dawrf's 'mule' toes. I don't think so. The Half-orc would still get encumbered, it just takes a little extra weight to do so.
