Trait Question: Reactionary

Rules Questions

This trait gives a +2 to Initiative checks. Does this stack with Improved Initiative?

I allowed this to stack in my SD game knowing that the rogue who took it would basically win most initiative rolls. It really didn't seem like a problem in the game, but I wanted to see how others have ruled on it.

Improved Initiative is an untyped bonus. It stacks with the trait bonus from Reactionary, as per the stacking rules.

Liberty's Edge

I don't know if this is the right place, so feel free to move this. I was curious if this ruling was an "official" ruling for Pathfinder Society Organized Play games. Yes, both feats and traits provide different bonus types, but the Trait Web Enhancment also states that "Trait bonuses don't stack"

Dark Archive

I believe that means they don't stack with each other. If, for instance, you had a trait bonus to Will from one trait and a different trait bonus to Will from another trait, you would only get the better of the two bonuses.
