Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I found that my sugar cravings were off the charts high while I was drinking lots of splenda. I cut all the artificial sweeteners and it really helped cut down on the junk food cravings. I'll usually put about one to two ounces of fruit juice in a 12 ounce glass of water just for the flavor, and that works well for me. That and tea. Lots of tea.

Try this out for junk food cravings: it turns out that in addition to my plastic allergy, I'm allergic to corn. So what, you say? Check it:

As for the Vitamin C recent findings state that taking it in addition to a multivitamin can increase your chances of getting cancer.

You guys all have a good evening.

Later Urizen, good chatting with you.

I think about 20 or 30 things on that list cause cancer.

Lynora, do you drink coffee? I only ask because Ido and I can't take it without sweetener. My mom refuses to buy equal, so we get Splenda. I'm wondering if cutting out the coffee (or seriously cutting back to maybe only two cups a week) in my diet will help curb my cravings.

I am a coffee addict. cannot give it up. I tried. Not gonna happen. I use just a little agave nectar in my coffee. For me it's kinda self-medicating since the caffeine helps keep my ADHD in check, but for a lot of people caffeine really stimulates appetite.

Agave nectar? Is it reasonably priced?

Wow. Is there anything you can eat? That has to be pretty tough.

Yeah. I paid like 3.50 for a bottle that lasts me for about a month. So I think that's reasonable.

That's not bad. I'll definitely look into it.

I'm doing ok. Finding lots of good recipes on websites by people who have had the allergy for years.

One thing for sure, I eat healthy food now.

Hmmm. I thought at least Clarence and Rachel might have had a fight after the Sunday Tea mixer mix up. How Rachel's mixer ended up in my kitchen I have no idea. How her underwear did...well, what can I say? And it all started with her wanting to borrow a cup of oil. Followed by an oil massage...well, I digress.

Well, personally, I'm persisting on 11 1/2 of hours of sleep that I got yesterday and I've been up since 4 pm. I'm a little tired and I've got some spaghetti cooking. Mom went to her doctor's appointment, so right now I am enjoying a much needed break from her presence. I love her to pieces, but lately she just been a little too clingy.
