That is so nothing to be sorry for. It gets here when it gets here, it's making sure you guys get 'the package' that is of most importance.

Thank you so much for sticking that song in my head. I will be hearing it until I get off work and turn my mp3 on with some metal. Thank you so much!

You're welcome? Unfortunately, I have that song stuck in my head now too, and I have been playing random songs to dislodge it with no luck.

Actually, I suspect that I am coming down with a cold, but I want to stay in denial about that.

Work took forever today.

I spent (basically) the entire work day in a small concrete box working a computer that controlled a device in a bigger concrete box and got to watch it on camera.

The work day took forever. Forunately I got to come out to go to the restroom and eat lunch. Then...back in the box.

Now it is the weekend. :-)

You don't have to press a button every 108 minutes, do you?

I don't think I could handle that kind of pressure.

ooh, I hate when that happens. Even if they are evil rodents who burrow into the gorram house and destroy stuff just because they can. :/

I get stupid when a small rodent tries that and slam on the brakes. One of these days, I'm going to pay for that.

The go-cart racing was a lot of fun, even if I decided to sideswipe the wall and get the cart stuck on the first turn. I'm coordinated.

If I say anything goofier than normal, it's because of the head trauma. I should be better tomorrow.

If the insurance companies had their way, they'd make sure you do. Profit margins come first. Your well-being? Not so much.

Congrats, you've bumped it out. Unfortunately, your linkie triggered a weird mental association and started a different 80's song in rotation. I'm afraid to mention the new song here out of cursing everyone in the thread.

Is it wrong that I'm going to use all of my Birthday Money to order this? I'll probably never play it but I'm a huge fan so that will take my RPGs up to 3 for Dr. Who.

Then I saw it again today, and I preordered. Stupid mental d20 always rolling 1s.

Midnight Oil are pretty good, but they get played to death over here so I'm a little over them. That and Peter Garrett is now a Politician...

"Indoctrinate" and "mysterion"? I demand that you tell me what you do for a living right now!

I work for a financial institution. I kind of landed there from a job fair after being unemployed for a year following a lay off from my previous job. It turned into a ten year venture that merely pays the bills.

Disappointed?

Most people only use the word "indoctrinate" negatively, and only a very small group of people use the word mysterion. There must be an explanation other than occupation.

And the dude behind me wailed on the horn......."Kill teh thing dick! I'm in a f%%*ing hurry!"
So I busted a cap in his ass, if only in a daydream.

Yeah I saw Vic's post about it being a Small Print Run with David Tennant on the cover, then moving on to Matt Smith and that just cemented it for me that I have to get it now. And the timing is right with the influx of cash (even though I was gonna save it for my Paizo stuff and probably the new OotS book. Although I could probably get the OotS book as well and ship them together. :)

EDIT: Oh and I didn't know you were a fan. :)

OK. Then I don't feel ashamed about liking Men at Work too. :)

Midnight Oil had a couple of successful albums here (Blue Sky Mining was their biggest, I think), and I liked it a lot. I just ignore the fact that Mr. Garrett is a politician. He started off his career with some fairly radical viewpoints, IIRC.
