Now you're being silly. Little snot should call you Ma'am.

I am not old enough to be a Ma'am. :\

I paid the "senior" price for a movie because the kid who sold me my ticket can't tell the difference between 40 and 60. Sure, I have grey hair, but c'mon!

I did like paying a dollar less for my ticket, though.

I generally get away with paying student prices. I'll miss having a student id for being a PhD student! For a short brilliant time, I got both student and teacher discounts. These were the golden years...

I am going to get my old, tired butt into bed, now.

Y'all have a good evening. I'll be back tomorrow.

Good night, Taig. Rest well, so the next time that happens, you can kick the kids ass.

Night, Taig Boy.

I miss the Waltons.

Makes me think of my grandparents.

Dang right he should a good book smells so much better then cheap cigs (well cheaply made anyway since $5 a pack isn't cheap anymore)

Sleep well, Ma'am! ~grins and ducks~

The Cubism style acquired its name from the geometric designs and little cubes that it is composed of. Picasso and Braque are two of the main inspirations for this style of art. Some of the earlier art had more depth and seemed to make the art work appear as if it were three-dimensional. With cubism the space has only a slight deepness to it and is more two-dimensional. Picasso and Braque prolonged the study of their new found style which promoted influence and use of it and it became "analytical cubism". Analytical Cubism centers more on earth tones and the key edifice of the picture.
I feel that these artists were bored. And wanted to see what they could come up with. I believe that their eventual boredom with this style proves that they simply wanted to see what they could get away with doing and making popular. Or I could be wrong and beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder and they loved this style, enough to buck society.

My discussion response, for the Professor Leafy to look over. :)

Boy am I glad I decided to take one more peek. Thanks.

Analytical Cubism is derived from Cubism, but uses more earthy tones and centers more on the key structure than worrying over symetrical styles. (if that makes sense.)

Well, I picked up a bunch of good deals at my FLGS's 70% off all RPGs sale, but there was one item in particular that I think that I scored big on. I picked up a mint, shrink wrapped copy of Palladium Books Nightbane World Book 4 - Shadows of Light for under $6. This is the books that I have looked for for over 6 months and saw only one copy at e-bay. I bid $60 and lost the bid. There is a PDF available, but PDFs do not equal a print copy. ~grins~ I was jumping for joy after finding it.

Heh. Try paying $8 bucks a pack like they do here. I have to admit, it made me give them up (at about at the $5.50 level four years ago ..)

I ran the numbers for my foster daughter (who refuses to quit):

Smoking in MA: $8x365=$2920/year/pack a day habit.

Then you factor in the 'incidentals' when going to a convenience store every day:

munchies/soda habit: $2x365=$730/year (and $2 a day is conservative)

That's my gaming budget right thar.

Yah, that was kinda where I was going with that :)

Besides, spending massive amounts of dough to kill myself ... Not too smart. And I used to smoke 2 packs a day, so at $5.50 back in '05 that ran to close to $4K a year (and my wife once did the same, so it was $8K a year, just in smokes .. ugh)

Good morning, everyone!

It's Friday...hooray!

Morning Badger!

I have to go cut up an apple tree that yesterday's gale knocked down.

To the negative, I liked the tree, and apples are always good.

On the plus, a decent-sized apple tree will provide me with two weeks pleasantly-scented wood.

My apologies for dismembering your relative, Mairkurion. Take heart knowing that its death will serve another purpose in the Circle of Life.

I don't suppose "mi'lady" would work better for you than that other honorific everyone else has thrown around, would it? ;)

Oh, and Happy Friday good gentlefolk :)

Save some of the wood chips for smoking. Ribs, that is. I smoke baby back ribs with apple chips and they are AWESOME!

Devlyn: G'morning, Hero. :)

Patrick: Apple wood, is that good for smoking meat?

Solnes: Argh! Yeah, I first got ma'amed like 4 years ago. The kid in Target asking his mom what a vinyl LP was made me feel much older though.

And that teen(?) shouldn't of called you ma'am. The correct honorific is Mistress. Sounds like he needs a session of two to train him better. :)
