Wait! I don't get it.
Some prayers for Natasha, my fiancee, would be appreciated -- she feels ghastly and they're having a hard time figuring out why. =(

Er, sorry about that. Withdrawal is a b*tch. Giving up on soda? Yeah. It always makes me crave the sweet stuff even more. Plus the sodium content is too high :/
So as part of the new diet, no more soda for me :(
Carnivorous_Bean wrote: Some prayers for Natasha, my fiancee, would be appreciated -- she feels ghastly and they're having a hard time figuring out why. =( So sorry to hear that :/
I hope that they figure out what's wrong soon.

Been getting a lot of requests lately. All kinds of friends, relatives of friends, and actaul relatives struggling with major health issues. *sigh*

Considering all the setbacks that they had with the movie, I'm not surprised it hasn't started yet.

So did anyone catch CNN just now? They were talking about the New York district 23 race and said that "former Vice President Joe Biden was attending a campaign rally for" the Democratic candidate. What does CNN know that the rest of us don't?
BLAM! Get off my lawn zombies!
Quiet! Some of us are trying to sleep!

Hey, everyone of the threads visible right now have a dot on them. :)

Well, I was at the grocery store. I really should know better than to go to Plum market. It's so expensive. But it's also so much closer than the cheap grocery store. :/
I see you did a credible job of amusing yourself while I was gone, David :)
If I can add another prayer request.
A friend's 23 yr old niece has been battling with a MRSA infection in her blood. She's had a high fever for 14 + days now, kidneys and liver shutting down. She's at UofM Hospital. They're asking for prayers.
God, I wish I could do more.

So any ideas about CNN and Joe Biden?
David Fryer wrote: So any ideas about CNN and Joe Biden? The reporter was sleep deprived and can't keep all the scary old dudes in politics straight?
Back with meds, something is wrong with this world when 4 pills cost me 40 bucks!! Dang it no insurance sucks. Oh well.
*Tries to forget that thatwas my last bit of cash*
Prayers needed noted and done. I hope things get better for you guys and your friends. :\
So, how was lunch for everyone? Lynora, congrats on the diet thing, I know its hard, but you'll do fine. And check out Diet Coke Zero, lower sodium, no clarories or fat, and a decent once a day trat for us soda addicts. :)
Hmmm...desk drawer full of Halloween candy stolen from the kids. Many sugar highs to follow...

I may be able to enjoy some Coke Zero at some point in the future, but for the next few months I really need to be soda free or I'll never kick the habit :(
Sorry about the medicine. It really does suck how much that stuff costs.
Prayers sent for all that need them...sounds like a scary time for all involved.
Sebastian wrote: Hmmm...desk drawer full of Halloween candy stolen from the kids. Many sugar highs to follow... Agreed! Although, the kids ransacked the candy bags yesterday morning while I was showering and Hunny was sleeping and ate quite a bit of it, I am surprised that they don't have tummy aches, or sugar highs, but for some reason sugar doesn't affect them in bad ways.
Sebastian wrote: Hmmm...desk drawer full of Halloween candy stolen from the kids. Many sugar highs to follow... Let alone the lingering satisfaction of hearing them cry as you stole it.

My mom picked the pop rocks candy for haloween! I so love this stuff!!
I love drinking Sprite and then stuffing a bunch of pop rocks in my mouth.
Ack! You're gonna blow yourselves up!
Observation - (obvious)
There are several people on the Civil Religious Discussion thread that are just angry. I mean, if you look for the worst in people you'll usually find it. *sigh*
