Do people have problem with the cleric's heavy armor being taking away, or is the issue with the fact that medium armor, which many people avoid like the plague, was given to the cleric?
In other words if medium had been worth wearing, would anyone have cared that the cleric had been switched to it?

Well folks, after 900 posts, I think that I have heard all that there is to hear on this subject. I am going to lock this one down, not because folks were acting out (since my last post, things have become relatively civil), but because there is really not much left to say that has not already been said many times before.
I have read all of the concerns, and I am looking at some ways of alleviating this issue (which is clearly important to some) in the Advanced Player's Guide, which is my current project.
