Neil SpicerThat's what I like to hear! It was fun meeting you Neil. I know that we all have a lot of cool gaming product to look forward to from you down the line starting with Realm of the Fellnight Queen next year!

Neil didn't seem embarrassed at all when you called him out at two separate seminars. :)

I've only been to a handful of cons, but I've gone to DragonCon and GenCon twice. PaizoCon was so much better than either of those for me. The small size helped immensely, and I got to meet a lot of people who I only previously knew by avatars and screen names. I got to eat dinner with RPG Superstar '09, Neil Spicer, Hugo "Butterfrog" Solis, and thelesuit (I'm embarrassed that I can't remember your RL name--sorry). I got to eat breakfast with Craig "Scribbling Rambler" Shackleton and Josh Frost. I found out that I was in the same room as Elora for most of the con, but I finally actually introduced myself just before the banquet. And, I got to meet a lot of awesome folks in various other events. I'm SO looking forward to next year's con.

I think I'd already had my pep-talk by then. ;-D
And it was great having lunch with you! Hope to see you at the next PaizoCon!
Have a great time chatting with the rest of the Best-masters: (the "real") Nani, Kyle ("Jarina"), Jon (my husband), Randy ("NiT"), Neil Spicer, Greg Vaughan, Michael Kortes and one other person I can't remember (eek, sorry!).
That was YOU!?! I must have met so many people at PaizoCon and never got their name (real or otherwise)...but still had a blast chatting with everyone. If I'd know you were Elora, however, I would've thanked you once more for all the positive comments you posted during the RPG Superstar competition. It was very nice meeting you and participating on the Best-masters together! Hope to see you again next year!

It was great meeting you at the Con, Neil! I was the guy who sat in on the fiction seminar the first day, and I really loved your story once I was able to read it. I spent half of that seminar privately geeking out because I was sitting near you and Lilith, lol.
That was YOU!?! (it's funny how much I'm having to say that)
The fiction seminar was definitely a great way to open PaizoCon for me. That kind of setting with the opportunity to get structured feedback on your work is priceless. I'm glad you could sit in, too. Make sure you register next time. ;-)

Neil Spicer - I'm just glad that I had the chance to tell you in person how much I enjoyed each of your entries! I had a blast chatting with you and Kortes and Vaughan, and I fully plan on joining forces with the rest of the Best-masters again next year! Undomesticated equines could not keep me away. :-)

Absolutely. We've got to make another push for the trivia title by reforming the Best-masters. Kortes and Vaughan better be there, too!

Also for Neil - even with the delays on our flight, my bag did get transferred and met me in Asheville! Woot! Hope to see you there next year. I promise I will not snag your hat again ... maybe. ;)
Glad to hear it.
Er...that your bag made it. Not that you "maybe" won't snag my hat again. ;-P

I'm hurt.
I thought what happened at Paizocon stayed at Paizocon?

Don't know how I missed this denigration of my character. At least Josh remembered the "much more handsome" clarification that I use.
FYI Taig, at GenCon 08, Josh confused me with the brother even younger than Craig. And that one is Evil Personified.
Seriously, that breakfast meeting, and the many other brief sit-downs like it, was what made PaizoCon so special. An opportunity to hang out with cool designers, like-minded gamers, and just plain nice folks.

Neil (yay! got it right this time), if you're running the Yetisburg game next year, I'm signing up. It sounds like it was a blast.

Well... there is GenCon.

If only it were in the budget. :(
I had to pick one Con to go to this year, and PaizoCon was it. I think I made the right choice.
