Here is a compiled version of the previous thread. These are (for the most part) conversions of the Second Darkness Adventure Path creatures to Pathfinder Beta Rules.
The format is an attempt to make things easier for DM's without searching the book for changes between v3.5 and PFRPG/Beta.
The format has changed somewhat over time; When I have a spare minute, I will go back and clean up for consistency; Post corrections where you see errors. Thanks;
Until I'm completely done, some links will contain "coming soon" pages.
Thanks to Dennis, Anguish and AlKir for their input;
Enjoy,
~D

WOW, You know I have loved your previous thread but the complilation is fantastic. I was way behind in downloading them (and I am in the middle of the AP). This will help out a lot in getting caught up.
Thank you so much for all your hard work. I have used most of them and have found them to help out a lot being my group is a PRPG group.

Wow! This is amazing. I wanted to run Second Darkness with the Beta rules but the prospect of adjusting everything in the modules was just too daunting.
Thanks very much.

Have there been any thoughts of combining these into zips (rars or whatever) by books?
I ran into a MB limit on the hosting provider but once I'm done I'll put some thought/effort into it - Likely, it will coincide with the release of the "Production" version of PFRPG containing some rule updates. At that point, I expect the new MM out as well so I'll include (assuming its allowed of course) stats for everything.

Have there been any thoughts of combining these into zips (rars or whatever) by books?
A workaround - for the time being - might be using a download manager such as DownThemAll! I'm using it in conjunction with Firefox, and it works great to quickly download all PDFs. Then it's just a matter of seconds to create six subfolders and drag&drop the appropriate PDFs into them.
daemonslye: Thanks a lot for your continued dedication to your project :). I'm looking forward to the PFRPG final conversions, and will try to chime in with input every now and then.

I'm up to 'Children of the Void' now and I noticed Yaris Neraken (Children of the Void p.20) has levels in Aristocrat. I thought Yaris was just a standard Wraith?
You are correct. You may notice I took some liberties with the conversions to Beta rules. Although Yaris has class levels, given that a template was applied, the effect was very similar to the standard wraith.

I agree. She looks great (almost too good in fact considering she's undead).
I just noticed the Drider entry. Looks good, I might make a few other Driders in my campaign (based on wizard, fighter or rogue abilities)
What I can't figure out is why Driders use weapons designed for large creatures. Since Driders have large spiderlike body and a drow-like upper torso.
Meh, just a thought.

I really like the new format too. We have been using your conversions since I discovered them back when I was running Children of the Void. We just finished Endless Night and are headed into A Memory of Darkness. That leaves me with about two months (we play bi-weekly) until chapter six. I'm hoping you'll have time to complete them by then (I know...wishful thinking). Your version of Allevrah should be something impressive to see.

I was reviewing the the "thief_thug" pdf, and saw something in the Combat stat block for the Riddleport Thug that confused me.
Can anyone clarify what the superscript "at will" or "S" tags next to the various attacks mean?
I thought those were 4e monikers...
I'll prob stop using the "at will" moniker going forward (unless it's a specific ability; it got in there due to cut-and-paste). The "S" means a "standard action" which is useful to know (esp. where it changed over various versions).

I changed him somewhat from a "pretty boy" to something... different. I used a Plot and Poison class that may make him a little too powerful. Let me know how it goes. I figure having him bop in and out (using magic jar into various drow and driders after using the hezrou) will keep the party on their toes and have him drain off some spells while allowing them to heal along the way. Additionally, he is a single spell caster which will always give the party a big edge. At this level, I don't think the hezrou will present a major challenge (even the cooked up one I will add shortly);

Well, the Day is finally here! Pathfinder the RPG is released and the Beta will be retired. I like many of the changes in the final game and our group will move over to it immediately.
Its been fun converting the opponents in Second Darkness; I may look around at another set of modules to convert to Pathfinder RPG. The books I really want to convert (G-Series, D-Series, Paladin in Hell, etc.) probably won't get a link from here so I may pick something else. Ideas are welcome. I'll also try to get around to finishing the set piece in PRPG rules.
I will convert Allevrah to Beta for completeness and then will retire from this thread unless someone needs something updated.
Thanks for all the kind comments to date!

Recently added (Sept 26, 2009): Allevrah Azrinae;
I went ahead and used Core Pathfinder Rules. I also changed the format somewhat (yet again).
After a little research, I saw no need for her to take a prestige class and so kept her core. At this level, even with all her capabilities, a tactical error could be fatal, given the party will naturally target all of their attacks on her. With the change in the Magic domain capabilities, I had her load up on Use Magic Device.
Enjoy!

You can download Joey Virtue's Hero Lab files for Second Darkness here. If you want to print them out from Hero Lab format, you'd have to open them using Hero Lab.
You can also open most of the portfolio files as-is in Combat Manager and skip the need for a printed sheet or stat block for running combat. That's what I do. I did have trouble opening some of the portfolios in Joey's file without first updating them in Hero Lab, presumably because they were created with an older version of Hero Lab.
