"My, there are kobolds in the tower. Just how did such things happen into town?" The old mage adjusts his frames again.
"Tobolar just don't stand there. Find our guests some food and take them to the dining hall. It will be far more comfortable there."
"But Nim..." the halfling frowns and points at the wyrmlings
"No buts!" his gaze stern, before smiling at the party and wrymlings

Brazimal |

Brazimal finishes eating and takes a big gulp of water before launching into her tale of how the others found the kobold lair in the bluffs, their encounter with the sergeant and the great battle within the caves. As her tale winds on she over embellishes all of the children's heroics and actions making it sound like there was an entire army of kobolds who were in the cave and the only thing between them and the town were her and the rest of the party. With her description of the battle over she describes the kobold wyrmlings crawling out from behind rocks and their sad hungry faces.
"So you can see, that's why we couldn't just leave them down there."

Laz |

Sitting at one of the a corners of the jade dinning table Tobolar stuffs his face, but looks on in equal parts interest and jealousy as Brazimal finishes her story.
Around them the wyrmlings dart about. Agilily leaping on person and table stealing bits of food, and the occasional eating utensil.
"Of course, of course. Leaving them to starve would be horrible indeed." Nimozaran smiles at the young tiefling.
"I am surprised though in your skill as group. Normally such young adventurers would have met their ends against such a large number of kobolds. You are all very special indeed."
"I will go to the bluffs tomorrow and investigate some into the why's and where's of these kobolds. If I were to guess they some how came from the Cloak Wood to the catacombs." The old mage pauses a moment and drinks from his gobblet.
"I'm sure Brazimal has told you of my wish for you to investigate Kobold Hall, yes"

Brazimal |

"I did mention it to them master before we left for the bluffs. But Lareth said 'As my Step ma says theres no use jumpin inta the fire when you're already cookin in the frypan.' and said we should check out the bluffs first. I was going to ask them again later if they'd accompany me to Kobold Hall after we had rested the night and made sure the wyrmlings were taken care of."

Laz |

He gives a small nod to his new student, "Kobold Hall, as it's known today, was once the holding of a proud minor noble. Unfortunately after the Bloodspear War the noble and the manor have been long forgoteen. It is now named for it's current residents."
"I've noticed an increase in kobold aggressiveness. While they can be intense at times they are cowards at heart and flee quickly from battle. I think something is aggrivating the kobolds to such a frenzy, and after the your deeds tonight I'd like to offer you the chance to find out just what"

Lareth |

rubbing his hands together Lareth says sounds good to me, I'll just need to get permission from the captain, but I'm sure he'd want me to find out whats there.
Then stifling a yawn, he continues Should we go first thing in the morning? Don't know about you guys, after that big meal I'm kinda sleepy.

Laz |

Seeing the group talk over going to Kobold Hall, and the obvious exhaustion of the group the High Septarch of Fallcrest quickly brings dinner to a close.
"Please consider my request to go to the hall. If do decide in favor of it please meet back here tomorrow. I can lend you some help in traveling."

Laz |

"Do not worry about the wrymlings. I'll keep good care of them here for the time being." He adjusts his glasses as everyone begins to exit
Most of the youngsters are greeted with questions, "Where have you been all day?" and "You did what?". Looks of relief and frustration on most of their loved ones faces.
Lareth tired tries to get some paper work done for his report tomorrow.
Kronag returns home to see Teldorthan sitting out smoking his pipe. Quite odd, the old dwarf is normally asleep at this time.
Adrana returns with Bruno to their empty home.

Kronag |

Laz:

Corrin Halfmoon |

Corrin walks back to the store with a smile on his face and a spring in his step. "Hi Uncle Selarund, I went out into the hills and fought a tribe of kobolds and tomorrow I'm going to Kobold Hall to fight some more kobolds so I'm going to need one of those packs of gear you have for sale, here's fifteen gold to pay for it, I'm going to go to sleep now."
Buying a set of Standard Adventurer's Gear, because why not?

Lareth |

Laz
When he wakes in the morning he finishes the report and gets his gear cleaned and ready. He heads to Captain Faringray and hands the report in while informing him of his intention to investigate the Kobold hall as Master Nimozan has requested.
When satisfied that the captain is happy with this he'll then head back to the tower to meet everyone for the expedition, stopping on the way to pick up a fresh loaf of bread for breakfast.

Laz |

Laz: ** spoiler omitted **
Teldorthan eyes blink for a second and focus on the young half-orc, "Oh Kronag. I'm sorry I didn't notice you there."
His old eyes scan the darkened town "I didn't realize it was so late either."
His hand goes down and pulls out an old dwarven made time peace. After looking at it his brow wrinkles and he sighs slighly. "Come it's late. Bed beckons and you can tell of your adventures"

Laz |

"Saving the town from kobolds, and exploring old ruins..." Fairingray pauses, "You and your friends have the makings of some A Class adventurers."
He smiles at the young guard "You have permission to leave. Just be careful out there. You may have training, but you're still young and this will be different than training in the yard"

Kronag |

His hand goes down and pulls out an old dwarven made time peace. After looking at it his brow wrinkles and he sighs slighly. "Come it's late. Bed beckons and you can tell of your adventures"
Kronag looks confused, but follows the old dwarf inside. "But I just did tell you," he whines as they go. "Can I go tomorrow?"

Sorry all real life has been kncoking on my door
Arriving at the tower they are greeted by a disgruntled halfling, a kobold gnawing on his ankle.
In the Brazimal is found trying to feed some of the wrymlings while others bounce about on furniture, and swings from shelves.
Nimozaran is no where to be seen, but sounds come from high up the stairs.

No problem, it happens some times.
"Hey Tolobar!", says Corrin as he steps into the tower, a smile on his face and a cat draped over his shoulders.
Today's resistance is Lightning!

Lareth |

good to see you looking so well rested friends Lareth says as he walks up to the group gathering at the jade tower. He looks slightly disheveled as if he slept uncomfortably and he's munching on a crust of bread.
sorry for the slow posts, I've just recovered from the overload of GenCon Oz. Fantastic 4 days gaming.

Laz |

Nimozaran sits up from the his tomb of books.
"Thank you", he smiles at Kronag and Lareth.
"That pile got away from me, and the next thing I knew I was being flattened."
He moves over to a desk and grabs an old wooden staff. With a loud "THUD" he slams the end on the floor. The center of the room begin to glow a soft green light, as runes and symbols spin by.
"This was used by the former mages to move back and forth in the vale. Today I will use it to take you to Kobold Hall. But before you go..." He shuffles through some things on the desk and picks up a small leather bound book, a quill and ink.
"This is for you, Brazimal. You can not expect to take decent research without decent tools."
"For the rest of you, while I now it's not alot, I arranged an extra set of adventuring gear." he looks around to find the items.
Sevonds later the sound of huffing and puffing can be heard coming up the steps. Tobolar strains to drag in a simple backpack filled with extra goods.

Lareth |

Lareth looks about nervously at the strange magic the wizard is casting. Always wary around such powerfull displays he edges back towards the door when Tobolar comes in. Here Tobolar, let me help you with that, he says as he practically rips it out of Tobolars hands and hefts the pack onto his back, gratefull for a distraction to hide his unease.

Brazimal |

Brazimal moves to the center of the room with the glowing, spinning symbols and runes.
"Don't let that idiot Tobolar try and scare you. His knowledge of magic is so pathetic he lights himself on fire. It will be perfectly safe to travel since Tobolar didn't have anything to do with this circle."
She then steps within the glowing circles and waits expectantly to be whisked away to Kobold Hall.
