I am kind of concerned for the OP, since he seems to be a new guy. If I was a new guy, I might be taking the lock-down kind of hard. (Of course, when I was a new guy, I laid low for a lot longer before gettin' uppidity. But I did feel rather singled out when one of my Michael Jackson threads went bad.) However, when all these old guys come out of the woodwork complaining about moderation, I wonder, what in the heck?

This is going to hurt when I have to get up for work in 3 hours...
Why am I sick but not tired? So do I... :/
I have bad sinuses and had the flu about 3 months ago. Since then, my nose/sinus cavity hasn't cleared and I have been continually coughing up gobs of mucus. I thought it was just getting a little worse yesterday, but overnight my voice went all croaky, mucus/coughing has been worse and I woke up with a headache.
I have my Father's birthday dinner on Saturday night, followed by a school get together at the pub, so I hope I'm better by then. And to make matters worse, me getting no sleep means that tomorrow night I will be tired as. Which sucks because Friday night is stay up late night because I get to sleep in on Saturday. And I do so much want to stay up...
I agree with Mommy lynora. You need to go see the doctor.

lynora wrote:Okay, I'm not a doctor, but that sounds like possible bronchitis to me. You should really go see a doctor. If it hasn't gotten better in three months, it almost certainly requires antibiotics. Oh, and drink some tea with honey. And if you put some lavender oil into boiling water and breathe the steam that helps too. [/mommy mode]Rats. That sounds so much more reasonable thann what I was going to recommend... about a pound of crispy bacon and shots of whisky, then a nap. Yeah, it kinda sounds like bronchitis (my nephew's doc told us things to look for if his asthma seems worse).
I'd go the bacon for sure! :D But I can't stomach any kind of whiskey... give me rum any day! :D

So, you went rounds with Frank Trollman? That should be an initiation into something in some tribe. I'm guessing it didn't got anywhere.
(shudder) Bad memories. Very bad. I was only a lurker then, and I still got sucked into that mire....

Plus, you class up the joint. That's no mean feat.

Rum works. Pour a little into your tea with honey. Instant cough syrup.

Hmm, ok folks. So I have decided that I am going on a diet. Starting Monday I am going to eat better, and exercise. maybe I will even exercise some today. I want to quit smoking but I don;t want to gain a bunch of weight. so I am planning on losing weight and getting into shape and then using the exercise to help quit smoking.
What ya think?
I say go for is Solnes.

I may have to partake on Saturda night. :D
Sounds good. I've never actually had a Dark and Stormy in real life. But they sure sound tasty...

Well, all I can say is that if you want to play in the big league, you best be prepared to take the hits.
Fair enough, I just wouldn't want new folk to get the wrong impression about what kind of place this is.
Flash, what do you mean, Dark and Stormies in the fridge? People are premixing them now?

Best Drink EVAR!!!
Bundaberg Rum actually make them pre-bottled using their own Ginger Beer (which by the way is also the best Ginger Beer ever as well). You don't see them often anymore, so generally I have to mix my own.

Let's just say that if there were shades, they would match the drapes.

If I'm not around for a few days, I'm not ignoring you. I think I may have just earned myself a timeout.
I hope not. But then time away from here is probably not that bad... you can spend it with your SO.
At the risk of sounding blonde, who is Frank Trollman?
He pops in on the Shadowrun Dumpshock forums too.
Sorry, I'm cranky. No AC and stupid f*cking song stuck in my head.

Edit: Apparently it's too late.

~grins~ Yep and it does not bother me. I am a big enough pervert to not be bothered by that stuff.

Shall I go get that poor fool's coffin ready for him, Tina?
