I posted a big long post on the goose stepper thread telling them to grow up and either leave or not, but stop using it as a threat. They remind me too much of the four year olds at the day care.

I am kind of concerned for the OP, since he seems to be a new guy. If I was a new guy, I might be taking the lock-down kind of hard. (Of course, when I was a new guy, I laid low for a lot longer before gettin' uppidity. But I did feel rather singled out when one of my Michael Jackson threads went bad.) However, when all these old guys come out of the woodwork complaining about moderation, I wonder, what in the heck?

Heh, maybe if a girl calls the boys sissies, it takes.

Good morning. :)

hmmm... yes it appears that it is morning now and has been for 1n hour and a half. :/

This is going to hurt when I have to get up for work in 3 hours...
Why am I sick but not tired?
Oh, I hate that. I can never sleep when I'm sick. I'm so sorry you're feeling cruddy still. I hope you get better soon.

So do I... :/

I have bad sinuses and had the flu about 3 months ago. Since then, my nose/sinus cavity hasn't cleared and I have been continually coughing up gobs of mucus. I thought it was just getting a little worse yesterday, but overnight my voice went all croaky, mucus/coughing has been worse and I woke up with a headache.
I have my Father's birthday dinner on Saturday night, followed by a school get together at the pub, so I hope I'm better by then.

And to make matters worse, me getting no sleep means that tomorrow night I will be tired as. Which sucks because Friday night is stay up late night because I get to sleep in on Saturday. And I do so much want to stay up...

I agree with Mommy lynora. You need to go see the doctor.

Okay, I'm not a doctor, but that sounds like possible bronchitis to me. You should really go see a doctor. If it hasn't gotten better in three months, it almost certainly requires antibiotics. Oh, and drink some tea with honey. And if you put some lavender oil into boiling water and breathe the steam that helps too. [/mommy mode]
Rats. That sounds so much more reasonable thann what I was going to recommend... about a pound of crispy bacon and shots of whisky, then a nap. Yeah, it kinda sounds like bronchitis (my nephew's doc told us things to look for if his asthma seems worse).

I'd go the bacon for sure! :D But I can't stomach any kind of whiskey... give me rum any day! :D

Hey, now...tread lightly. I still got some hate saved up from that.

So, you went rounds with Frank Trollman? That should be an initiation into something in some tribe. I'm guessing it didn't got anywhere.

At the risk of sounding blonde, who is Frank Trollman?
Just don't say his name 3 times in front of a mirror... OK

(shudder) Bad memories. Very bad. I was only a lurker then, and I still got sucked into that mire....

Rum works. Pour a little into your tea with honey. Instant cough syrup.

There is a bar back home in Vegas that sells bacon infused vodka. Not that I ever went there. :)

Well, all I can say is that if you want to play in the big league, you best be prepared to take the hits.

Sounds good. I've never actually had a Dark and Stormy in real life. But they sure sound tasty...

Fair enough, I just wouldn't want new folk to get the wrong impression about what kind of place this is.

Flash, what do you mean, Dark and Stormies in the fridge? People are premixing them now?

Alright, well, I have to go now. Time for art class. I'll be back in a couple hours.

Best Drink EVAR!!!

Bundaberg Rum actually make them pre-bottled using their own Ginger Beer (which by the way is also the best Ginger Beer ever as well). You don't see them often anymore, so generally I have to mix my own.

I hope not. But then time away from here is probably not that bad... you can spend it with your SO.

Tiny Tina wrote:

Spoiler:
Frank seems like a really smart guy, but he often takes a specific chunk of game mechanics or a game world that doesn't agree with his sensibilities, calls it out, and starts proposing fixes... when it often doesn't need fixing or only a minor tweak. Any resistance usually just makes him dig in further. He means well though.

He pops in on the Shadowrun Dumpshock forums too.

Sorry, I'm cranky. No AC and stupid f*cking song stuck in my head.

Am I snobby if I turn my nose up at the premixed?

My First D&Ss: I was just on the edge of the Bermuda Triangle when the guys on the boat started making them with Gosling's Black Seal rum and Barritt's Ginger Beer. If Bermuda had given us nothing else, that would be okay...

I guess so. Some asstard with 54 posts to his name told me that I needed to be more polite and learn how the boards work.

By the way, I love the word asstard. Thanks for teaching it to me Dave.
