I had a friend who was driving with his family to Las Vegas. About two hours out, the kids start in with are we there yet. After about 45 minutes of this he turns and says "yes we're there. Now we're just trying to find a parking space."

The Exchange

I'm begining to think I'm spinning my wheels here.

I'm taking my kids out to lunch, then I'm going to do some writing this weekend, then Miami v. Virginia Tech starts at 3:30, then I'm starting up my first PFRPG campaign. It's gonna be a busy day for me.

Oh, yeah, I might dopplegang someone or other too.

Not me. I can't stand red meat. Even the smell of it makes me kinda nauseous. *shrug* I really tried to get past it, but I just can't.

Maybe it could be tweaked for fish or shrimp or scallops or something?

I never tried that.... {hums} ok, I'm ready for BBQ. Hello?

I was thinking pork or chicken, but yeah. It's really yummy by the way.

I don't have the equipment for that.

Well I had better go grab a shower so that I can be ready for Pathfinder.

Is that what you decided to play with your children?

Or is this a different group?

Different group. My kids seemed decidedly uninterested yesterday.

Dark Archive

Hey could you guys head over to this thread and give me some feedback? I want to know if I'm on to something or if I'm way out in left field.

Yeah, that happens. :(

Well, my son is showered, so the car won't get all stunk up when I take the kids to lunch.

Be back later. Enjoy your game, David.

Done. I like what you did. I made a smallish suggestion for Warforged. :)

I never heard from the place I interviewed with. I guess they decided on someone else.
Well that sucks. We all need to start our own company... now I just have to think up something stupid, that it can be made for a couple bucks, and put it on an infomercial for $19.95 +$8.95 S&H. Offer void in New Mexico

This explains so much about you both. See, Taig, you can dress up like Triplicate Girl. {readies eye-bleach}

Sorry, Ares did that to FASA HQ on Cermak Road years ago. It only knocked the bugs into a topor... I don't think it had any effect on the staffers.

Well, maybe I'll try it with pork. I have a bunch of pork chops I bought when they were on sale and no idea what to do with them. And the marinade does sound really yummy.

I have an entire afternoon of quiet. Woohoo! :)

My father-in-law's birthday party is today so the boys went to Kalamazoo for the day for that. And since I'm sick I get to stay at home and spend some more time recovering.

Dark Archive

Have fun.

~yawns abd then grumbles~ Drat! I hate waking up in the middle of a good dream. And the blonde was not only good looking, but she was smart too. ~sighs and then grins~ Oh well. I WAS going to do some stuff... ~looks outside~ but the rain has changed that. Now it is go get some brunch and then do laundry. Maybe clean the house.

Dark Archive

Go back to sleep. Things are slow today.

David Fryer wrote:

~grins~ Nah. I really want to get my laundry done at the least. Plus, I need to keep SOME sembelance of a schedule going.

I have reactivated my DDO Account and have been playing on a new Server with a new Character for the past 5 hours... :/

It is just as much fun as I remember, even soloing the whole time (and it was weird, I heard people complaining how hard it was to solo... I was doin' it with a freakin' Rogue for crap's sake!!! How hard could it be?)

Dark Archive

So my players must have gotten word that I was planning to kill them today, because nobody showed up.
