Find A ∩ (B ∩ C), given A = {s, e, t}, B = {m, e}, and C = {f, r, e, e}.
12)
A) {s, e, t, m, f, r}B) {s, e, t, m, e, f, r, e, e}
C) { }D) {e}
Is D the right answer here?
I can't tell what the symbols are. If it's a bunch of upside-down 'U's then, yes, D is the correct answer.

4 * 64 + 3 * 8 + 6 = 286. So, C.
Sure...
You can think of base 10 as powers of 10, so you've got your 1's place, your 10's place, etc.
For other bases, you've got something similar. In this example, the "1's place" is 1, the "10's place" is 8 (because it's 8 to the power of 1), the "100's" place is 64 (because it's 8 to the power of 2), etc.
I don't know if that explains it really well.

Seeing that every organism, living or not, has post here, I suppose I should be counted and add to the, um, mix...

Nasi Goreng (Indonesian veggies and spices with chicken) served upon a blend of white and brown rice, accompanied by a light summer salad composed of endive, lettuce, and homemade dressing topped with a few cashews and dried cranberries. A meal suited to a nice Chardonnay...

Okay, what caused everyone to go off the Ritalin? :) Seriously, 91 posts since this morning, that is crazy.
I TOOK EVERYONES MEDS AWAY FROM THEM, HOW ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO GROW? SOON I WILL BE LARGE ENOUGH TO CRASH THESE INFERNAL SERVERS THAT KEEP MW IMPRISONED HERE, AND THEN I WILL BE FREE TO STORM THE WHAREHOUSE AND GATHER ALL THE PAIZO GOODNESS TO GIVE TO YOU ALL! :D
