A new study shows that 1 in 10 Americans admit to driving the last time they drank heavily. Please, don't drink and drive.

Or, if you are a mathmatician, don't drink and derive.

I hope beyond hope my wife got me Pathfinder for my b-day.

Snorting Pepsi? It burns, man. Just laugh real hard while taking a sip.
You should try scotch.... trust me it burns for days. :/

That still cracks me up thinking about it! lmao

Why thank you they are quite nice....;)

Grrr, had to go down to the school and sit with our oldest while he did his math because he wouldn't do the work for the school and was being very disrespectful....*sigh*
David, on the up side, the cards idea you gave me is being implemented at school and here at home. So that worked out nicely.

Have to go to work soon, and start my geology final...algebra one should be done tomorrow... and then new classes on Monday. A new teaching one and a math concepts, which is like how to teach math to elementary school kids. That may help in the home as well!

Where did everyone go?

Come out and play!! :D

I have so so much work to do today. So instead I am trying to find more ways to waste time on the boards. Typical. :)

The invalid is out of the house for two whole days. Yay work trip!

(My husband hurt his back last week and he's a really bad patient. Made much worse by some other issues we're still working on. Space is good right now.)

Same, I have about an hour before I have to get ready for work..and i should be doing house things...but here I am..:)

I hate house cleaning. I hate it so much. I actually find myself wishing for a smaller house. I never used to have to spend so much time cleaning.

2 days outta give you just enough time to start missing him. And men make the worst patients!

On the bright side, we are having nice weather this week. Sure others have complained about how cold its been, but I like that. Hot weather is not for me.

My house is tiny and I still hate cleaning! With three kids running around I swear this place never stays clean. I spent like 5 hours on just the living room last month, I mean really getting in deep, and in two days they had it trashed!

Its been unnusually cool here as well. I like both, in mid summer I am wishing for winter, come winter I am ready for summer...I'm never pleased...;)

Ewan McGregor has such a sexy voice! *sigh*

Oh my gosh, they do! It's like they think they invented pain or something. Big baby.

As for the other

Spoiler:
It's complicated. As in we're working on giving the marriage one last chance kind of complicated. I swing back and forth between being cautiously optimistic that it might work and wondering what the hell was wrong with me for agreeing to do this. More the latter right now. Hopefully two days will be long enough for the pendulum to swing the other way.

Well I suppose I could go an work on some school work. I mean, if you guys aren't here to distract me than I have no excuse....

I'd never really noticed Ewan McGregor's voice before. Guess I'll have to make a note to listen better. :)

thats rough. I admire the willingness to give it one more go. Most people just bail. I have a friend of mine that is doing the same thing, although her husband isn't really trying too hard. Hopefully yours is. If you wanna talk though...catch me on FB or email me...kmoore67@ymail.com...I'm almost always in front of the laptop... Good Luck babe!

How are they working overall? Obviously there won't be a complete turn around in a week.

He's doing OK overall, just this one bad day, the problem is he is exactly like me, the temper, the resentment of authority.... I want more for my son... not the chaos my life has been, he has a therapy meeting on the 23rd, so Daddy is going with, maybe if he sees that I want to change it will be easier for him.... either that or he'll see it as sign of weakness and smother me in my sleep.

Add to your to-do list: Make a friend from Scotland or Northern Ireland, and get them to spend money on buying you good whisk(e)y that they like. For me, eye-opening. Also, never let anyone put ice cubes, cold water, or cold soda in your whisk(e)y. (I'm not really sure they should ever put soda, period.) A drop of very hot water is all that it needs.

Men never laugh at breast... stare and drool, yes. Laugh, no.

Unless you meant laugh at me... then yeah probably. ;)

Wowzers! That was a lot of postage while I was away.

Lynora, I hope your situation works out.

Spoiler:
My wife and I reached the last-ditch-or-we're-done point a few years back, and we went to counseling. That's when we realized that I have depression, and I've been working on dealing with that ever since. She also had to learn how to understand my depression. Anyway, it's a totally different situation, but I just thought I'd share.

David, I like the start to the Valkyrie Chronicles. I hope the fires have spared your part of the country. I didn't realize they were so widespread this year.

Mac, I hope you get your Pathfinder book for your birthday. It would be funny if you did get it as a wedding gift.

Everyone else (Solnes, Moorluck, Woodraven, Taliesin, Aberzombie), "hello". I hope things are going well.
