I'm asking a thing because in the description of the Will'o'wips (page 128) in this excellent add-on "Drangon Monster Ecologies", I don'tunderstand 2 things:
- It is noticde that a wiil'o'wips has a damage reduction of 15/magic, but that is to mean 15 hit points against all but not magic but taht is applied to spell and/or magic weapon?
- moreovoer, it is a DR of 15/magic BUT it is also written that a wiil'o'wips is immuned to magic! What does it mean?

Hi Sempai, this probably isn't the best section to have posted your question in as this is the CotCT AP forum, so your post may get moved to a better location.
Damage reduction is given as: quantity/bypass
That is, the quantity by which damage is reduced, and the type of weapon that can bypass the DR.
So DR 15/magic reduces damage from non-magical weapons by 15, but dosn't reduce damage from magical weapons.
The reference to immunity to magic will refer to spells and spell-like abilities.
You may wish to check the description of the will-o-the-wisp in the SRD, as it appears to differ (most notably it dosn't have DR (perhaps it had DR in 3.0 and the Monster Ecologies entry was from then)) from your description, and also the description explains what it means by it's immunity to magic.
