Well, there's also a dice roller at DMTools.org It could work.

That was the link I gave :)

Hey lynora - I'm gonna step aside on this game. After evaluating my time and game involvement already, I'm fairly strapped at this point and it looks like that commitment will carry me into the summer.

Good luck with both groups!

Okay, hedgeknight, thanks for letting me know.

So we have three open spots for High Seas and two for Night Watch.

I have a dice roller here I can access. My work is bizarre about sites that are or are not accessible.

Ok, so, I'm staring at the Beta rules on 1st level HP. I think I've followed the standard 3d6 + 3 = 21.

So, I've decided I am missing something here. Unless we are using one of the other types...

Can someone point out what I'm missing here?

EDIT: Well then. All good. Thanks. :)

I'm not using one of those methods. I'm just having you guys take max hit points each level. Sorry for the confusion.

Well.. I'm gtting back into PBPs and this is looking much too tempting. The setting sounds wonderful. Any chance I can scrounge one of those nightwatch spots?

Dark Archive

I'd like to request a change from Night Watch to High Seas please.

Dark Archive

Hello again everyone=)

Now i thought i wanted to be a rogue but i changed my mind to sorcerer,

And i also want to play an interesting race and i'm wondering if half fey would be alowable?

i allready have a rough background going aswell=)

Liberty's Edge

Justin,

I saw you were leaning towards fighter/wizard. Are you thinking about going eldritch night, or just the straight up multi-class?

I'm just curious because while I haven't seen one of the new versions of the class in action yet and they look pretty nifty.

And so assuming justin does switch over, it looks like we have whatever Jon decides to play, a dex fighter, a fighter/wizard, a cleric and a warlock? And thats before we fill out another 2 spots if you want 7. Should be a good party.

hey sorry for not getting back sooner... work was rough today... i will star on the character now and should have it up by the end of the day... might need some time to work on back story though

Absolutely! Glad to have you.

Done. You are switched to the other list now.

OKay. The Night Watch is going to have a lot of casters :) (Note: I do not consider this a problem.)

Half fey is fine as long as the level adjustment works out.

Alright. I have two spots open for High Seas, and two spots open for Night Watch after recent changes/additions.

Not sure at the moment if I'll go for EK or not. The basic idea for the guy is he was injured during a training exercise. So he was forced to adapt and found being an 'engineer' worked well for him. Due to 'accidentally' blowing up a rival engineer he left his unit and is now working as a mercenary.

Alright. I think I am ready to go.

So, a final link here and I won't add to the clutter unless necessary. Looking forward to this. :)

Awsome now i have seen some Half fey without level adjustment and some with 1 or 2 and i don't have the pathfinder Beastiery so i don't know the pathfinder rules for them so may i use This DND version?

I'll drop the wings aswell if you like, i for one i don't particularly want butterfly wings sprouting out of my back, and two flying can ruin some adventures=)

The Exchange

Lynora, what are your feelings on the Dvati? (dragon compendium race). They interest me but always felt they'd be a headache in tabletop but could be fun on a pbp.

I have those same feelings about them. They'd be too much of a pain in tabletop, but I have no problem with them at all for a PBP. So go ahead if that's what you'd like to do.

Coolbeans will get to work on something and will hopefully have something tomorrow morning :D

I'm good with that version. The basic rule is subtract one from the level adjustment for pathfinder.

You can keep or lose the wings as you like. There are enough flying creatures that make their home in Chance that it's not as much of an advantage as it otherwise might be.

Dark Archive

ok awsome i'll use them rules then thanks=)

(no wings)

Wow. This seems pretty cool and I think I'm too late. Do you have any room for the naval game? If you do, I'd probably play a Corsair from the Freeport setting. Seems fitting... If you're full up, then keep me on your reserve list, please?

As she said above, there's still a few spots left on both options.

Which will teach me to post before I read all the posts! I'd love a spot in the Naval game and if you don't have the Corsair class, I can send it to you as a PDF if you'd like.

Oooo. Looks interesting Kauul. :)

Maybe Harden can learn some crafting tricks from you. As long as you never feel threatened and want to blow me up....

*Goes back to not lurking as people post...no....*

Are there any spots still open? I would be interesting in playing in the high seas one if that is possible.

here's the beginning of the cleric will finish it up between tomorrow and over the weekend for the high seas

Okay, you're in. Yeah, send me that pdf at

I'll look at it. The answer is probably yes, but I like to at least see the material first.

Well, looks like you snag the last open spot in that game. Welcome aboard :)

Looks like the High Seas game is full up, but I still have two spots open for the Night Watch.

Sounds good. That should fit well.

My original concept was gonna be a Summoner, but I am thinking I will instead go with a Battle/Melee Caster using the Abyssal Sorcerer's Claws. Maybe add in a couple of levels of Rogue or Fighter for good measure.

(This is OnyxTigress)

But so far I have gotten the basics of my character made, and I will get the rest done tomorrow.

This will be my Abyssal Sorceress once I get her stats copied over.

Heres my sorceress. i'm feeling exhausted atm so i'm sure i made a mistake somewhere=(
+ i had to rewrite it all because it crashed before i could save it=(

Be on again tommorow=)

It's taking a while but I'm almost there, just have descriptive bits to go..

..created seperate accounts for them too to make things easier ;)

Looks like I'm the only non caster in our unit. At least for a while.

Liandra Nightwind wrote:

I see myself as more of a diplomat than a caster, I have the capability if it's needed but won't be relying on it at all.

Dark Archive

Can we get an update on the rosters?

I'm High Seas fighter. Will send you pdf. Hurm.

Garan is almost* ready for the High Seas.

Gotta update the item list.

ALright, you are on the list. Yes, I have all of those books so anything in them is fair game. Changeling is fine. Where can I find the Chameleon PrC?
