Since I am running the Savage Tides AP in a world were dinosaurs are quite common in the whole reagion, I want to spice up the population of the isle of dread. I started to "cross-breed" different species of dinosaurs with various demons (as a result of the close connection of the isle of dread and the abyss), but have since run out of ideas for more combinations.
So does anyone has some suggestions on what would be good "mutated" dinosaurs or prehistoric beasts that fit the isle of dread?
By the way, they can be quite nasty, since I am running the AP for 6 Players using high powered Pathfinder characters.

When I was running Savage Tide, I stumbled upon a listing of creatures from the WETA coffee table book detailing the flora and fauna of Skull Island for the King Kong remake. I think there is a link to the 'Skull Island Bestiary' in this Wizards forum:
I had to have more powerful specimens because I was running a Gestalt campaign, so I understand your need. The stats on the V-Rex, for example, were quite nice - I used those as a basis for a more powerful version of Temauhti-Tecuani. And having such wonderful artwork by Ben Wooten to show off really brought the Isle to life for my PCs :)
I hope this helps out a little!

You want to mess with your players' heads a bit, use the 'fey touched' template from MM 2.
"Whaddya MEAN the Hold Monster didn't take?! That's the third one!"
Templates, templates - mix them up into like, say, family groups or something.
The big moments to go just absolutely bug-nuts with statting up critters is if/when the characters elect to chase down the Infamous Seven - several are noted as dinosaur-type creatures.

The book is "The World of Kong: A Natural History of Skull Island"
fwiw: it has many excellent pictures and descriptions.

Another thing to consider is that there are creatures from many different time periods in one place, Terror birds and dinosaurs, so that may mean that these creatures are drawn in from various elsewhens. If that is the case there is nothing stopping creatures from the future also being drawn in to the IoD. Hyper evolved creatures from the future, or even a lost regiment of Nazi's/Blackwater Mercenaries/Terminators/ect.

Yes, but that doesn't happen until Ben Linus turns the wheel under the Orchid Station.

Hey Maxxx here are a few ideas,
1. Balor/Giant Gorilla hybrid2.Deinosuchus/Hydra Hybrid
3.Bullywug variations like a poison arrow version, smaller very colorful but very poisonous to the touch.
4.Giant Dragon millipede(Google Cambodian Lost World) Scientists recently discovered 1'000s of new species including a hot pink colored millipede that oozes cyanide.
5.Shape shifting aspect of demogorgon, representing a diety for different tribes on the island who are enemies of one another but unknowingly worship Demogorgon. One tribe could worship a monkey deity one lizard and other octopus and Demogorgon gains power by using one against the other. And he may show up as a giant 2 headed gorilla/Demogorgon combo or 2 headed T-Rex demogorgon combo and a mutated octopus demogorgon combo.
6.Medusa Spiders(As seen on LOST) their bite causes paralysis but victims appear dead for i think about 12-24 hours.
Hope some of those ideas helped?

Some of these are really good ideas, I will try to make pictures for some of these as we are playing via Fantasy Grounds and its helps my players visualise everything. Currently I have (with the names given to them by the natives in parentheses):
half-basilisk Utahraptors (Junglestrider)venomous Therizinosaurus with a huge sail on the back (Sailspitter)
three-headed Ceratosaurus (Three-headed death)
Advanced Megalosaurus with tentacles (Choking Hunger)
Tyrannosaurus / Glabrezu Hybrid

Spoiler for my Isle of Dread campaign:
I also note that there's some stone giants on the island, so they could be good for shits/n/giggles.
Finally, weredeinonychuses or mayhap utah raptors are in the cards; might be utahs because the group is gonna be 9th level before they hit the island.
