If we get a cleric. I'll switch to rogue, Since Graynore will be running the arcane, and I'm sure we'll need some trapfinding ability. If we don't get a cleric I'll stay with Bard, and play ghetto cleric.

I have searched the website and I have yet to find it, although Amazon seems to have it: Amazon LoG Player's Guide. I was curious when the store will have it and when I could buy the PDF so my players can read through it on their own time and think about what characters they want to make.

The book will make it over from China the second to third week of March. The PDF will be available to purchase April 15th. The player's guides are now part of the Companion line (LOF is 3rd or 4th down on that page).

It becomes available on the street date, the same date that the FLGS's are supposed to start selling it.

Thanks' that does clear up the confusion. Anyway, I am still interested in playing as I have a concept for a Cleric of Saranrae(sp?). She would be more about the redemption through compassion and as such, will be more focused of the healing and magic side more than the melee side. Maybe it could be possible to like the Paladin and cleric's backstories if the person playing the paladin would be willing.

Absolutely, Bahir is taking the Missionary background so we have a strong tie there if your planning on the same thing.

I'll email you sometime Wed. which is my day off. As for the camel I am still looking though some of my source books but as yet have found nothing. For now I would say its either a heavy or light horse price as in the beta. We still have time so wait while I continue to look around!

Well since you asked so nice, ur in! Just look above for the creation rules. Game should start sometime around the end of March when the AP arrives at my doorstep! It looks like we have a Rogue, Paladin, Cleric and a Wizard or Sorcerer so far.

Zoo; I was wondering if you would be ok with me playing a Human Beguiler or Druid? If I play the Beguiler- I'd Switch to Wizard next level and at level five go into the ultimate magus prestige. If I play the Druid, I'd just advance in druid levels through out.

Your the last to arrive actually. We got 6 people now so the game is now full. Read the above post on the creation rules and be ready in about two weeks!
Everybody who has not posted their pc yet in this thread go ahead and do so, I would like to take a look at them to start getting ideas for the game. What I am really looking at is the backgrounds so make sure you have them done! I also want to know what everybody has choosen as a pc so the late comers can see what is left to take or what is needed for the group! Katapesh awaits!!

Very sweet, and thanks. I know we already have a paladin, but it looks like we've got all the bases covered as well. My initial thought is to roll up a paladin/monk of Irori, but I plan on revisiting the material I have on the region before making my final decision.

Hehe, I welcome all the paladiny goodness and feel another fighter type is perfect to round out our crew. A thought however, have you concidered a ranger? With the Gnoll Killer/favored enemy (gnoll) trait I imagine that he/she would be just brutal. That and tracking would be a huge asset I think. I almost went for that myself initially but I am playing a ranger in another PBP and decided to try something new. I don't think my pally is going to be able to dish out too much damage (more the tank type). So a two-handed weapon wielder might be another thought. Whatever you decide....WELCOME! :)

I was thinking about ranger, though I recently played one in another game and was looking to try something else for much the same reason as yourself. Still, we didn't get very far before the GM called it quits, so it's a possibility. And the desert nomad/savanna ranger concept has always appealed to me.
I'm also looking at the feasibility of a barbarian or fighter that takes great joy in hauling around more weapons than he can possibly need, and chucking them into fights before charging into melee. Or a wizard of some sort; too many concepts, only one character to be made. I might just have to break out my dice to decide.
Here is my sorcerer. (Graynore). Can't wait to start.

Nah, I'm going to have too much fun with the meteor hammer. Besides, a ranger with a two-handed weapon is essentially giving up a significant portion of their class specialty.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone and so far everything looks great for those who have posted their pc's. Still waiting for dathom and Hokory to post their pc yet! Looks like the Guide to Katapesh is going to be delayed also, I saw it got moved back to April which I was disappointed to see as I want that to come out before the AP, oh well! I've changed my mind and am going to start a disscussion thread for this game tonight so be on the look out for it. Post there with your pc upon arriving at our new home!

Yeah I'm still keen. I've just gotten into a second darkness game as well that's about to kick off but I recon I cna do this one too.
What character type do you need? I was thinking a druid maybe, as neither of my games have me playing a caster, but I'll go for whatever fills up a gap in your team.

Excellent! We have a Rogue, Sorcerer, Paladin, Cleric and a Ranger. So everything is covered at this point so its up to you what you would like to play. Druid would be an good edition to the group. Game thread is up and going, make your pc and post it in the discussion thread when done so I can go over it real quick. Creation rules are in this thread above! Glad to have you aboard.
