Gerth Sol |

The map link is in my profile.
And Gerth, using a psi-like ability is going to provoke. First, and only warning.
Understood. I thought I was behind them, and that would give me an advantage. I will take my lumps without complaint. Also, I won't be able to post anything until Wednesday due to the start of school. Sorry for the delay.
Gerth tries to concentrate through the battering he recieves from the corpses.
Fort saves 15,10. Concentration checks 16,29.

Lance Blackhilt |

my companions shall be the death of me!... Lance thinks as the arrow whishes past him
Hearing the dwarf cry out in fear and not in a battle cry that is normally associated with his kind, Lance takes to chasing after him. “Rourke! Stay together, don’t go running off on your own!” Lance calls after him.
As he takes chase he calls out to the others “I’ll get Rourke, follow when you can.”
Avoiding AOO from corpse and going around Gerth, Lance moves to (F5)

Sorry, I was busy with the holidays.
Next readied maneuver is Stone Bones
Brinmore moves around the rolling sphere of fire, careful to not get singed, and attempts to cave in the chest of the next corpse.
Move to square K9 and attack corpse C6 using his Bonecrusher maneuver on the corpse.
Melee attack against corpse C6 using the Bonecrusher maneuver. (1d20+10=11, 1d8+4+4d6=21)

Ghetto DM |

Brinmore moves into a flanking position with Gerth, easily ducking a swing from the corpse. And the corpse ducks Brinmore's swing. No problem on the MIA, glad you came back.
Lance dashes to Rourke's side and is immediately aware of the wild eyed look of fear on the dwarf's face. Rourke is alternately gasping for breath and screaming.
Asfer approaches and leaves an arrow shaft in the corpse.
Gerth
Gerth's turn.

Lyria Flamedancer |

Lyria concentrates, and the sphere moves to ignite another corpse.
move sphere to K8, save vs. reflex or take 9 damage
Flaming Sphere damage (2d6=9)

Gerth Sol |

Gerth's turn.
Gerth tries to shake off the blows and attack the corpse (C6) high and low with his Kama ( flurry: 12,22, damage 7,2.
Gerth shouts for his travel companions to pay attention to the figure in the alley.
this assumes that I am in K7, though the 'GS' is in P7. If this is wrong, then let me know.

Ghetto DM |

Gerth, I fixed the map and added the flanking bonus to your attacks.
Gerth slices the corpse twice across the body. Your kama proves to be an effective weapon.
Lyria's flaming orb rolls into the corpe, scorching it severely.
Rourke looks at Lance with an expression of utter fear, and then he hurls himself into the flaming haycart. The cart shatters under his weight and sparks go flying as Rourke dissappears in the flames.
Gaspar delays.
The corpse almost falls over itself as it tries to throw a shoulder into Gerth. Gerth easily dodges the clumsy act.
Gaspar can jump in at any time.

Gaspar Dawnbringer |

Gaspar with sweat beading his brow grasps his holy symbol tightly, and points his finger at the remaining undead, calling forth Pelor's power to unsettle the negative energy animating the creature.

Ranged Touch Attack (1d20+4=13)
Disrupt Undead damage (1d6=6)
Due to the -4 due to firing into melee...
All the jostling around the zombie causes Gaspar to miss with his spell.

Asfer |

Asfer shoots the burning corpse twice.
First Attack=19, Piercing Damage=27
Second shot=14, Piercing Damage=20
"What do I do?"

Gerth Sol |

good job with the map
Gerth doggedly slashes aways with his cutting weapons. To retreat now would endanger himself and bring dishonor to his ner-gith allies.
Flurry with kama:17,18 damage: 3,5 sigh
Also, Gerth attmepts to see where the zombie seems to be taking the most damage. Spot rolled ( I assumed -4 penalty)
Spot:15

Brinmore Kane |

Lance Blackhilt |

Gerth shouts to his companions about the skeletal figure in the alley to his allies.
Grateful that the hay-cart shattered under his dwavern companion weight and from being totally engulfed in the flames, Lance begins to move to pull him out. Though the scattering of the burning hay-cart will alleviate the harm caused by the fire, Rourke will have several irritating burns to remind him of this incident.
Lance looks about as he pulls he friend clear, he knew Rourke had to be under some sort of effect, magical or otherwise. The corpses seemed just that, animated corpses. Then he recalled what Gerth called out about a skeletal figure in the alley.
Looking to his companions he sees Asfer hopping from foot to foot.
“HEY ASFER, WE NEED TO GET TO THE FIGURE IN THE ALLEY. I THINK IT MAY BE EFFECTING ROURKE SOMEHOW.”
“GERTH, WHICH ALLEY IS IT IN?”
Figuring that Rourke must be viewed by the skeletal figure to remain effected, he looks to see if he can spot it himself.

Ghetto DM |

Thanks to the flank...
Brinmore hits, but his mace does nothing to the corpse.
I think you misunderstood Lance, Rourke dissappeared in the flames does mean he was consumed.
Lance tries to find an opening to Rourke or even Rourke himself, but the flames and black smoke prove too much.
Asfer moves closer to the alley, but fails to see anything amid the small piles of rubbish.
Gerth slashes twice with his kama, quickly incapacitating the corpse.
C6 is dead.
Lyria's turn

Gaspar - 11
Brinmore - 23
Lance - 21

Gaspar Dawnbringer |

Gaspar, his rage building at the continued presence of these monstrosities, steps forward, and presents his holy symbol to the remaining undead. "I Pelor's name I beseech thee!" "Return to thy natural death!"
Spend two turn attempts to destroy
Turn Attempt (1d20+7=23)... Up to 10HD

Ghetto DM |

Gaspar walks clser to the mouth of the alley and at his command there is a small explosion of light and ash at the far end of the alley.(and Gerth can tell you that the creature is no more).
We're out of combat rounds. Lance is down 13 hit points, Rourke has burned himself alive, and you can still hear moans and the occaisional cry from further in town. Post freely.

Gerth Sol |

These foes bode ill if there are more of them. I am currently wounded and in need of assistance. These creatures pose a serious threat considering my fighting style. I must meditate and discover better tactics.
Gerth checks in with each of his allies.
Where is travel-companion Rourke?

Gaspar Dawnbringer |

Gaspar lets the rage drain from his body as the last of the undead fall. "Now that we have taken care of the unliving, let me see what Pelor can do to assist the living".
Gaspar looks around for any wounded companions and uses his healing spells to heal.
If you're injured let me know how bad and I'll cast some spontaneous healing spells

Brinmore Kane |

Lyria Flamedancer |

"Guess he didn't have it. Anyway mourning over him here would be useless and dangerous now. We should keep moving and mourn Rourke in our hearts."
Lyria adds in a quieter tone, smiling at herself: "At least he was decent enough to incinerate himself so we wouldn't have to worry about burying him."
Lyria moves her sphere to the NW building, setting it on fire. "I don't want any more corpses jump at me, and there probably isn't anything alive here anyway."
If she can, she'll set the SW building on fire as well.

Gerth Sol |

Gerth, hearing nothing and seeing less, abandons sentry duty to regroup with his allies.
"Perhaps we should decide what to do next. As mourning for Rourke is put on hold -sorry to say- mayhap we check with the indigenous population. They may have intelligence concerning these corpses or if there are more of them. Failing that, we may find a dwelling-place and rest until the morrow. The fog should be gone by then yes?"
