Or the mysterious witch of the fens the witch Ylera, a half-elf passing as Human.

Ylera

We need to whip back the bygone artists of this thread, like N'wah and Callous Jack, they are much too distracted with personal stuff...

Both because I want to show her to all of you and to push this a bit upwards, while we get anything from the fans this is art I asked to be done, they did a wonderful work with my Jordan:

If any artists are still looking for PCs to draw I have a few here. The following are going to be pregen’d halfling PCs for a one-off game (or series of one-off games) I will be running in the nearish future. I am using Pathfinder but it is a homebrew setting I have been working for while now. The game is basically about a vast fleet of chinese-style halfings in massive Junks setting off from their huge Empire and heading west across the wide ocean and all their adventures they find on the way - tropical islands covered in ancient mayan-style ruins, undersea nations of coral elves and sauhagin, floating cities of storm giants and everything in between. (my email address is in my profile)

Shen Zhi “Daughter of Magic” – Sorceress
Spirits and many practitioners of the arcane arts attended your birth. Magic is your birthright and comes as natural to you as breathing. You feel that your destiny however lies outside the Empire and have joined the Treasure Fleet to explore the world and your fate. Bloodline – Destined

Description
Female
Height - 3’0”
Eyes - Bright green
Hair - Very light brown almost blond curled up high and held in place with two long hair pins
Dress – Red and white floral “ancient Chinese” style dress that end just above her knees, white slippers on her feet.
Setting – Ships cabin, royally appointed with silk hangings, rugs and fine cushions
Pose – Relaxed, laying comfortably on a couch/chaise long, one hand is raised and surrounded by a nimbus of magical energy as if she is summoning a glass of wine from the very air itself.

Kang Yun “Stoic” – Marine (Fighter)
Your extreme height (3’10”) has always been a cause of laughter to those around you. You have joined the Marines of the Treasure Fleet and now no one mocks your height, which has given you a good advantage in training.

Description
Male
Height - 3’10” (tallest Halfling ever!)
Eyes - Very Light Brown
Hair - Brown front half shaved, the back half worn in long, loose ponytail
Dress – patched blue leather armour, reinforced leather leg greaves, bare foot. Paired Kukri’s in sheaths on wide red silk belt.
Setting – Open deck of a huge Junk
Pose – stood near the ships rail looking out to sea, one hand on the rail, the other always near a Kukri in readiness.

Sima Wulong “Explorer” – Rogue
You have mapped in great detail many areas of the Empire, some quite wild. You have learnt many skills to keep you safe while you explore. Now a chance has come to travel beyond the borders of the known world.

Description
Male
Height - 3’3”
Eyes - dark brown
Hair - black, swept back and tied tightly into short ponytail
Dress – Sturdy looking thick clothing and boots, patched backpack almost bursting with useful gear. A thumb stick in left hand, a number of short blades/dagger sheathed on belt and leg straps
Setting – tropical island/beach, junks moored out to sea and a boat at the shoreline. Pose - Facing us, one foot on a rock or fallen log, right hand pushing aside foliage to better see whatever is on this island.

Mo Ying “Missionary” – Cleric
Your sect has tasked you with keeping the faith alive for the Treasure Fleet when it travels into godless seas of the world.

Description
Female
Height - 3’2”
Eyes – Blue
Hair – Strawberry Blond (red), kept short bar a long thin braid above left temple, tied with red silk cord ending a tiny holy symbol (a stylised open book representing the knowledge given by the gods)
Dress – Functional, High collared white shirt under a dark “top”. Trousers. A larger holy symbol is worn around neck as a medalion.
Setting – Open deck of Junk, possibly leading other Halfling sailors in prayer
Pose – Stood reading from a large book, a holy text. One hand holding the book, the other raised, palm out as if giving a benediction to those listening to a sermon.

Tian Chi “Performer” – Monk
You have been the Lead Lion Dance Performer for many years now at your temple. When the call went out across the Empire your troupe all volunteered. How else will other lands learn of the Lion Dance?

Description
Male
Height - 3’4”
Eyes - Grey
Hair – Shaved bald
Dress – Elaborate custome of a lion dancer (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lion_dance for examples)
Setting – Large wooden platform, a circle of sailors watching the performance
Pose – A victory pose after a successful Lion Dance perfomance. Stood on one leg, the other foot tucked behind the knee of the straight leg. Arms held out straight, one out straight to the side, the directly up.

Oh and Thank you.

if you find any money, i want $20....:)

Ive seen and love the pictures Ive seen of characters and equipment, but as I'm not going to read through over 2000 post to find out for myself, does anyone draw maps or know someone who knows someone etc... I also have a few (hundred) PCs, NPCs, and pieces of equipment that I am to utterly hopeless to draw, if anyone gets too bored.

I'm a little new to this thread so please excuse my crust ... are you folks still doing artistic renderings? Or has there been a loss of interest perhaps?

I hope there are still artists around... Unfortunatelly I got swamped with work and haven't been able to take one in months, but I hope that After Paizocon this situatio changes.

In the mean time here's one character I did for 4 Winds Fantasy

Apprentice

Its a quite generic character, so it may prove useful easely.

I hope you like it!

Wow.... very nicely done. I especially love the "down-to-earth" detail work done on her equipment and its used-yet-functional look.
Hats of to you!

Easy... PF Chronicler is mainly a place for Pathfinder fiction, but when out of art as most thing it is a lot less atractive to see.

I try to keep getting bits of art here and there to make it more atractive.

What we would love is if people is interested in drawing either character or scenes of some of the stories.

Either if they find something compelling to draw, or like Jenny, sheasked what we needed, I had in mind an scene of one of Wicht stories and I told her about that... when she has the time she will finish it.

so an in all we are in this for love to the art, and we will be thankful for any help we can get to make the place more attractive :)

We can talk in MSN or mail further if you want.

Ok, it's been awhile since I was last here, and I plan to go back through the thread to see what i missed in the last 1000 or so posts, but for now, why not bring me up to speed. I want to get started again, so if Montalve would be so kind as to remind me of any commission I have ongoing...for like the last year...I can try to get those out of the way. In the meantime, if anyone has any particular items they want done (ie. weapons, rings, rods, wondrous items etc. you all know what i mean) I would be happy to start trying to do those again. The last year was a difficult and busy one, but it seems like i'm out if it now so I got some time to start this again for a while.

And for anyone new to the thread or just needing a reminder of what my work looked like, here is my page.

OK so I have a character I played and built up to retirement. I am now writing him as a villain in an epic level campaign Im writing. I was wondering if some one would like to take this one on.

I was going to ask Butterfrog/Hugo Solis if he could do it, but...... He knows the rest of the story.....lol

But if Frog wants to take on another commission I would love to see this Guy done professionally as he is one of the main villians in the complete 7 module adventure and some sick artwork would be sweet...:)

Gworeth, care to give it a try?

Embodied demiliches are wiser, older, and far deadlier than common liches but not as powerful as a true demilich. Lacking the touch attack ability that true demiliches posses and a weaker form of the trap the soul power. An Embodied demilich appears as a typical lich whose eye sockets have been fitted with costly gems. The gems gleam wickedly with the light of stolen souls being slowly devoured. Particularly powerful liches sometimes learn the secret of fashioning soul gems, and so evolve to embodied demilichdom. Embodied demiliches seek to discover all the secrets of the multiverse, and beyond, applying themselves to the study of epic spells, the location of unique artifacts, and the keys to becoming a true demilich. Embodied demiliches speak the languages they knew as liches and as living creatures.

Lore also has a pair of large dragon like wings rotting with the rest of him

and he carries this...
Lore's Abyssal Battle Scythe
In the hand of a normal medium sized creature the scythe is large but is medium sized in Lore's hands.

I forgot to add that other than wings, size, and a row of horns tapering from forehead to base of his skull, he appeared quite human. The horns were mostly covered by his long hair which he kept in a high ponytail, He does have clawed fingers, earlobes that looked like a silver dragons frills, and a Fu-manchu style mustache and beard. See images below...:)

Fu-manchu beard style.

Type of hair style.

If I could get a before Lichdom view and after I would love it. To see an image of what he looked like while alive is something I have always wanted from the start of this character in 2nd addition. He became a 3rd addition character at 10th level and 3.5 character at 18th. At the time, we as a group, didnt use the traditional exp tables as we wanted to be able to slowly raise our characters level. We leveled up every so often and would take breaks from playing them and just play normal characters, but we always went back to these. It took a few years but he was finally retired after he became a Lich as he had become way to powerful to play as a PC. It was great and allowed us to build a unique back ground story and really get into the role playing aspect of the game. He has been, and most likely will always be, my all time favorite character I have ever played.

This request isn't actually from a game, so I'll understand if nobody's interested. This is from a novel I managed to finish yesterday, and I promised myself I would get the main characters illustrated.
Also, the reason a lot of them have double names is that it does wonders for the word countage. :P

Spoiler:
Ense-Esne: A giant salamander, about the size of a large greyhound. He's bright red, with a long yellow crest stretching from his forehead to the tip of his tail. Speaking of his tail, it's about twice as long as he and very thick (serving as his main weapon). His crest glows faintly. He's intelligent, if that helps.

Sarah-Entli: A young girl (about ten years old), with glowing silver eyes and a black ponytail. She wears a plain and practical dress.

Erus-Tovak: A middle-aged man with a grizzly appearance. He wears a fishing hat (one of those ones with all the fishing lures in them)and an oversized brown coat. His gray beard is very shaggy, and his hair is thin and wild. He carries a pronged fishing spear.

Suited men: Two men in stiff business suits, almost identical. Their faces should be blurry, though a monocle should be visible. These two aren't strictly necessary.

Note that it's in the medieval age (around the time crossbows came into prominence).

Shadow Lodge

Anyone want to try drawing a Golorian Goblin(Oracle of Nature) and his Goblin Dog puppy? His name is Gex the Forlorn, and he exiled from his tribe when they learned he could read and write(by exiled, I of course mean kill). For now the Goblin Dog's name is Puppy.

... i liiiiiveeee ....

I'm sooo rusty at drawing :(

Now that I'm on unemployment partially for now, I should be working on my art once more, I know I have an open commission currently, the pulp character with the monkey...but I'm hoping to have him more finished next week.

any one want to try the one I posted above?

I posted another topic that does everything *but* talk about this character's actual physical appearance: Xavier Muldoon, Druid Failure Extraordinaire

Drawings are good for anyone wanting to play with an open palette at the moment. Once I talk with the actual player running Xavier, I'll update with his description accordingly.

I'm gathering strength to take on some new assignments from this here thread... In the mean-time... Here are a few quickies made just for fun...

Grand Lodge

I have a submission if someone is willing to take it up, 3 actually. These are the characters of myself, my younger brother, and my girlfriend. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated.

Diodric Dragonfyre
Halfling Ranger/Rogue

Black hair pulled back in ponytail, (Russel Crowe in Master and Commander) but with largerish sideburns.
Green twinkling eyes.
Mischievous smile.

Wears a green Royal Navy styled coat with a little gold trim but no marking of ranks please. Under he wears a brown brocade vest (I think that's what it's called) and matching breeches. No stockings but white linen/canvas spats covering his feet instead (foot hair black as well). If it happens to show up on the pose, he wears a silver puzzle ring on his right forfinger.

He dual wields a cutlass and a Iron Kingdoms styled pistol.

I would like him standing with his arm bent holding his pistol, while is other arm holds his cutlass out away from him.

--

Oiddric Dragonfyre
Halfling Inquisitor

Dio's twin brother so the same physical features.

Oid wears a blue longhunter's hunting shirt that falls to his knees with more rugged leather spats. He wears a red sash with pouches and a bandolier with rifles charges across his chest. He also wears the same puzzle ring on his right forfinger, pose permitting.

Here is the link for anything you need about Oid's outfit:
Right here.

He dual wields a long slim dagger and a tomahawk, with a rifle slung across his back opposite the bandolier.

I'm thinking kind of a stealthy crouched pose with his knife and 'hawk drawn.

-Or if that's no to your taste he also wears the blue Andoran military uniform from Andoran Spirits of Liberty, with the two-handed eagle sword (I really like the one on pg 17), just no tricorn.

--

Piper Hexcastle
Halfling Witch

Long black hair, the curlier the better (I think black is a prominent hair color for the halflings in my Golarion...)
Large doey brown eyes.
Tanned exotic looking skin.

Straight up fantasy gypsy. I'm talkin' bandanas, bangles, long flowy ruffled skirts, belly shirts, jingly belts, ect. She wears only a simple gold chain neckless, and nothing covering her head. She also doesn't wear any shoes, but for the love of Desna's pretty little wings, *please* no foot hair, lol! She uses a walking stick as a staff.

Any pose will do.
