Ok KC, Take 2 of the kitty...except it doesn't really look like a cat, and you shouldn't expect this to be the finished product. I was just doodling with ideas tonight and I wanted to know if this is closer to what you had in mind. with the books and the fancier lens and the whatnot. If so then I'll redraw it like this with the added detail, and yknow...an actual CAT. If not then I'll dream something else up.

Quick update: Sketch for the Wolf King is almost done - I should have the full picture finished sometime in the next day or two. :)

As an aside: fitting a Nightmare with tack must be a huge pain - all the materials would need to be non-flammable :D

Actually, that looks pretty good. In your final draft, could you just make him look a bit more depressed? The 'smile' doesn't really fit his character.

Other than that, it's pretty much perfect!

He was nothing more than a Noble's Chelaxian Pet to show status and wealth. Think Paris Hilton's dog that was raised to fight Pit bulls instead of other Chihuahuas. His Name is TICO... Joking.

Rastist is his name. He hates it too.

Could someone draw Raistlin(balck robes w/red trim)staff and all?

Let me know what you think of it, DB3 (and anyone else with constructive criticism as well).

I've looked at him again and it doesn't look like he's wearing even a normal shirt. I was thinking about the hideshirt shown in the RotRL player's handbook. I apoligize for not being clear. It is a great dwarf drawing though!

Shadow Lodge

Also I've had someone draw Flint , this may not be the final pic though. If you want I can ask if anyone would like to draw your characters as well, or you can go here and ask for yourself(I recommend doing this because you can give better descriptions og them than I can).

Yeah, I thought it looked a bit like he was shirtless, too. I don't have the RotRL player's handbook, but will try to do a little research on what a hide shirt should look like, and then get you a revision. I think I read somewhere in this thread that you also would like him to have a cloak? I'm going to work on a version of KC's cat, and then I'll get back to Flint.

Thanks for the feedback. I never mind redrawing. :)

Okay, here is Zaggorm Greysnake v3. Let me know what you think, silverhair.

And here is my attempt at the depressive feline druid/diviner with the odd monocle thing.

Not bad. Only one thing, it isn't actually a monocle. That's just what the string looks like. The actual eyepiece is a sort of high-tech item which goes over his eyesocket. The actual eye is actually gouged out a while back, so you may not wish to show the eye. If that makes sense.

Thanks again.
Also, what is that thing below his head? A shirt?

No, it's not a shirt, it's just some squiggly lines suggestive of the rest of his body.

As for the high-tech item and the eye, take another look at the sketch, particularly at the difference between the lens over the eye socket and the actual left eye. I did draw it using the guidelines you gave, which indicated that his right eye was gouged out (notice the scars all around the lens) and stated that there would be a "red dot" where his eye would have been. I interpreted the red dot as a kind of artificial iris, but perhaps that is not what you meant.

Ok KC. I don't think I'm going to get any better then this. I know the mouth is still a little odd, but it's mostly since I hold no truck with white-out. I accidently filled it in with the pen.

This time it looks like a cat!

It's really just the last one that I penned over. I like it a lot better now. I hope you like it like this, because I'm anxious to move on to the next picture.

I'm really glad you liked it. I do admit that it looks exponentially better with the pen. But enough about that! On to bigger things! (Literally. A kobold is bigger then a cat)

Also, you changed your picture. I almost thought I was going insane for a moment there. this one makes more sense though. A cleaver of Kobolds would have a skull torphy...not a live one. Anyhow. that's it for now.

Actually, it's because of a Roleplaying incident at the untitled. Best not to dwell on it, but I will say this: The Demon Lord of Tribbles was involved in my permanent decapitation.

Also, I don't cleave kobolds, I'm a kobold who cleaves.

That you have a newborn at home and are typing in full sentences is an accomplishment in and of itself.;)

(My sister's baby is three months old, and she asked me when she was going to get to sleep again. I laughed. I don't think she appreciated that much.)

Mine is two months old and quite the handful, especially when he gets these moods where he *must* be held and talked to. But I love being a dad and thankfully he sleeps from midnight to 7am every day now so I'm spoiled and I get my sleep!

Congrats, Jack - on both the baby and the sleeping through the night. I have a three year old girl and another arriving in less than a month.

If you're all taking requests, I have a PC named Keliwyn I wouldn't mind seeing sketched. He's an elven rogue, and by that, I mean he's a rogue - not just class, but the adjective as well. He's probably equal parts Lando Calrissien and Jean Robie/Gary Grant from 'To Catch A Thief,' a good bit of Rick from Casablanca, a little Face from the A-Team, and a dash of James Bond and Ethan Hunt. Although he has the skills, he's not so much a thief as a guy who knows people, deals in information and gets things done. I sort of have two different mental pictures of him - the well dressed & groomed schmoozer, and the black & grey clad infiltrator, if you know what I mean. Two slightly different versions of him can be found under my profile, but the descriptive bits are:

Description:
Keliwyn's first impression is that of a well polished and put together young man. His hair is usually pulled back in a deliberate effort to accent his elven ears and features. He wears well maintained leather armor with an intricate elvish design, polished boots and a finely crafted brooch holding his cloak. In general, everything Keliwyn does is well though out - including how he dresses. Although he has a few choice items and impeccably maintains his clothes, it is all done so as to allow him to interact with a wide range of people, from the common worker in the typical pub, to members of royalty and society.

As a person, Keliwyn is very friendly and seemingly forthright. He is always sympathetic and willing to listen to people's opinions and problems, even if only calculated so as to gain their trust. He is, quite often, the smiling, happy guy in the pub willing to buy drinks for complete strangers, quick with a pat on the back, and willing to help those in need.

Background:
Keliwyn is employed by the Consul to Korvosa from the Mierani elves, and has been living in the city for a number of years. The Consul, who travels a great bit and is often out of the city, employs Keliwyn to act behind the scenes, gather information, and generally keep tabs on what's going on arounds the city and amongst its people. Depending on one's political inclinations, Keliwyn is the his man-on-the-street, intelligence officer, or, as some would say, spy.

I have two finished drawings waiting to be scanned in, and a half-finished drawing of a Butterfrog. Basically, home situation was pretty tough last week what with child getting in trouble at school and all, so I never got around to scanning anything in. It's on my to-do list for tonight.

Okay I have a bbn2/sorc w/undead bloodline6/EK6 I would like drawn. She was originally a varisian human but has been reincarnated(why cast any other?) as a gnoll. Pale skin and black hair transfer into pale gray fur with a black streak down her back. She also has the symbol of Lamashtu as a pattern in her fur(was a tattoo) on her left cheeck(I know ironic huh? A human worshipper of Lamshtu turning into a Gnoll?).
She is wearing celestial chainmail, a +5 heavy steel shield, her runeforged rapier(sheathed at her side), a cloak of +2 cha,a golembane scarab,a +2 nat armor amulet, a sihedron ring, a cloak, a +4 str belt,a and weilding Chellen(a big +5 keen scimitar), with a Deep Red Iuon Sphere floating around her head. Any takers?
