This makes tomorrow's election and (hopefully) victory all the more poetic. It's sad that she was unable to see her grandson achieve his greatest accomplishment, however it turns out.

I bet Barack is a crazy bundle of nerves that can't even comprehend his loss yet. But maybe not, maybe they knew she was going soon and that's why he visited her last week (er, whenever that was. It was last week-ish) to say goodbye. Either way, I'm thinking bout him.

Wow, this is like a fairy tale. The grandmother who inspired him, and pushed so hard for him, dies the DAY before he will make history. It is so sad.

Win or lose, he's already made history. The question is whether he will make even more history. I hope he will but it is sad that his grandmother passed away before knowing the outcome of the campaign.
