II, IV, VI, are the original cast movies i liked. (well, i did like the part in III where kirk's kid was offed. He was a whiny little nutter...)
As to the TNG movies? eh, i can watch them, but none really jumped out as being awesome...
(which is odd, since i did like TNG better than the original series...)

Wrath of Khan
Nemesis
The Undiscovered Country
Insurection
First Contact
The Voyage Home
Toss up for least favorite: Generations and Star Trek V, which I disliked so much I can't even remember the subtitle for it. Wrath of Khan and Nemesis are tied for 1st because they really each tell the same story from the veiwpoints of two different captains. The story is about how Kirk and Picard each handle their own dark side as represented by Khan and Shinzon.

Ouch, that's tough. I'm usually a TOS fan but for favorite movie I gotta go with First Contact. And while Star Trek V: The Final Frontier doesn't get a lot of love from anyone, the scene with Bones, Kirk and Spock around the campfire singing Row Row Row Your Boat is, IMHO, one of the best scenes in the entire franchise.
Edit: Arggh. I'm waffling. I'm tempted to change to Wrath of Khan, but... I'll stay with First Contact.

Final Frontier gets a lot of flack, but I think it is very well written and acted. In terms of offering insight into the crew of the Enterprise, it does the best job out of the OS movies. It is just much too short, and the beginning and ending wind up feeling rushed and inappropriate. Especially the ending. Really, blowing up a quasi-deity with Klingon weapons?
I was considering putting it above First Contact but it has too many weak points overall. I just don't enjoy watching FC anymore...

Wrath of Khan takes the prize.
Voyage Home is second.
Search for Spock takes third.
These movies are great, and are great for repeat viewings. But the main reason these three are my favorite comes down to how often they are quoted during our gaming sessions. Any film that you find yourself quoting repeatedly definitely meets the criteria for a great film! (Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Ghostbusters, Clerks, and the Evil Dead movies also meet this criteria for great films)
I did like I and V, but did not care much for the ones with the Next Generation crew. They just didn't do it for me. I guess I'm a Star Trek Grognard, too. ; )

What is that "next generation crew" you are babbling about now ?
You mean there is another crew ?;)
hahaha. It appears I am not alone.

Wrath of Khan, returned so much to Trek's roots.
First Contact, enough cameos and in jokes to make me laugh, as well as some of Worf's best moments, and the last time the Borg were scary*
Undiscovered Country. Some forced moments (looking through Klingon to English dictionary) but the other guys (Sulu, Uhura, Checkov) all got their moments.
If Undiscovered Country had been able to make the opening montage, that would have been better still.
*They actually got the good scary borg back in the Enterprise episode, but still not as good as they once were.
