Seeing them all go down, Garroth rushes out and tries to grab two of them to drag under cover (or at least out-of view of the ship). "Hurry! They'll notice them gone anyway, but this should still buy us time to figure out what to do next."

Synatria looks a bit nauseas at the dead men, then frowns and straightens up.
"You, changeling! Couldn't you take one of the guards' forms, then go over there and tell them...I don't know...they would be a while! Then we'd have plenty of time to prepare!"

You the dead men out of sight, you do not think you have been spotted but it is only a matter of time. The 2 men have no armor but both carries the Karrnaith MK III's, more powerful then what you have, but just a 5 round clip. They also carry one CLIP extra on a belt.

Jaxon quickly goes to work interchanging his clothes with the clothes of one of the unarmed ones. He frowns at the thought of facing 20 karnath soldiers unarmored."Keep the bodies hidden and lie in wait. I'll tell them we need a little help lifting a centerbeam, 3 or 4 guys will come over, we can ambush them, that'll thin the numbers a bit then we can decide our next course of action." He stuffs a blast-disc in the back of his pant's just in case." Now dont shoot me." He says precautiously as he alters his appearance to fit that of the karnath soldier."Wish me luck." He says with a wink and his best Karnath Accent.

He makes his way to the ship cautiously, ever ready to fling the blast disc if something went wrong.

"We found a great big Centerbeam that would be good for repairing the damage to the central supports!" He calls out, observing damage as best he can to enhance the lie."We could use 3 or 4 more men to carry it over here, the four of us couldnt budge it!" He waited and said a silent prayer to the traveler in his head.

There is some laughter from the ship as one of the men seeming to be leading the repairs says " These lady's can't left a long , hahaha...Jerm, you and your guys go and helps the girls out" with a smirk he turns back to directing repairs and 6 mean start heading toward jax

OK, Garroth will wait for the men to get within close range. Like before, he will shoot at one, and if (by some miracle) he hits and drops him, he'll shoot at a second. Otherwise, he shoots at the same one. I assume we can silently work it out so that each of our fire is directed at different men ...

two shots (1d20+3=13, 1d8=4, 1d20+3=14, 1d8=3) I'll spend an action point on the first (higher damage) roll

BTW, Keeper, I noticed you have Garroth listed at 26 hp ... he actually has 36 ...

I'm certainly assuming that we waited until the 6 were mostly out of sight, in the building, such was the point of ambushing them, and not that you guys shot them as soon as they were in range, cause that certainly leaves jax here a setting duck.Assuming jax isnt a setting duck.

Jax materializes his psychic warhammer and delivers a blow to the back of the nearest soldier's head

I'm assuming that these crossbows aren't masterwork. I'm a bit confused as to where I got it, though. Do I have bolts other than the magic ones?

As you are small they gave you the B1S, a small repeater. You have 3 clips or 30 shots.....the Repeater may make 2 shots as a full action or 1 extra shoot per round.

It's been a long day since the ship went down, scattered across the landscape. Nothing left but burning metal and wood. You made it out before the dragonfly fell to the ground to become the pyre for those lost in it's embrace. Your unit did not. Now they lay in Dolurrh,with all the rest it seems. Your mission it seems is over before it has started. But luck or the gods, mayhap both was with you as you have found a trail, 4 maybe 5 leading from the crash, a used token left in the field confirm it's a Black cap unit.

So thats how you find yourself in a feild looking at a burned out house, even now you see 7 men from an airship make there way to that burnt house. You think the unit is in there...do they know the men are coming?...are they trapped?...You must do something.

Ok everyone I goofed Joyelle dropped her guy, that makes 2 of them still standing not 3. They are still flat footed as they have yet to act.

Triage felt a surge of ... what was it exactly? Excitement? Anticipation? No, it was something else.

He realised what it was even as he broke into a dead run.

Triage had felt the bitter sting of failure. He had been unable to save any of his unit. He had been created for that purpose and had failed his makers spectacularly.

And here, now, he was being given the chance of absolution. A chance to save his fellow soldiers.

Assuming he could get to the farmhouse before the seven men ...

Under a hail of bolts and with an arrow though the last mans throats, the airmen go down with few calls, you are not sure if the ship heard them, but this trick is unlikely to work again

I am guessing you are collecting the bolts and arrows, count and that hit the unarmored men as reusable, if 3 rounds are taken to extract them

Jaxon relaxes his features and sets about donning his armor.He turns to see the warforged in the Black Cap"No time for pleasantries, we got a serious situation here, Wheres the rest of your unit soldier?"


Male personality Warforged (Scout) Ranger 1/Cleric 2

Triage lets his Mk II dip towards the ground - glad to see his fellow Caps aren't in trouble.

"None survived the crash of our dragonfly."

The 'forged moves further into the room, taking in the number of Karnnathi bodies.

"I'm a Field Medic, my designation is Triage. What is the status here - are any of you wounded?"

Synatria sighs. "This is a lot for one old shopkeeper." She starts polishing her crossbow, for want of something to do.


Male Changeling Soulknife 4th

"No one is wounded here yet Triage." He says as he picks up one of the MK III's"But we could always use another crossbow."

"Let's not get ourselves cornered in this building. Joyelle, come with me. You and I will sneak around and get on their flank. By my best reckoning, there's a possible thirteen to sixteen men still left. We gotta hit em hard, and hit em fast. After the initial shots,whoever has blast-discs or thunderstones, throw them as they might disorient the enemy. I have a flask of alchemist fire that i'll be throwing. After that, I'll engage them in melee combat, Garroth, you do the same from the other side. Anyone else who thinks they can hold their own is welcome to go toe to toe with the Karnath with us. Those who dont, keep us suported as best you can. Their unarmored Karnath mechanics. We are Cyre's most respected and feared special forces. The Black Caps!" He says, loading the clip into the MK III

"C'mon, this should be easy...Now come Joyelle. Garroth, give Joyelle and I a few moments to get into position, then Move in, Joyelle and I will catch them in a crossfire... See you on the battle field Garroth." He says as he grasps Garroth's hand in camraderie for a moment before setting off on the plan.

Garroth grasps Jax's arm, telling him, "Shoot well, my friend. See you there." Though his tone shows concern, his eyes betray the almost kid-like excitement at facing the Karrnath in hand-to-hand combat. He spends a couple of rounds replenishing his bolts, and reloading his current clip of 10; once Joy and Jax have been gone the prescribed length of time, he sets out according to Jax's plan.

The Karrnith MK III'S Damage 1d10, range 120', crit 19-20x2 wt 6.5 pounds 5 shot clips . As for web the hull its self would work for that

Triage keeps to himself while waiting for the others to get into position. Deep down he fears getting to know his fellow soldiers - they may be dead within minutes.

He follows Haedric out of the farmhouse, hefting his crossbow. He was ready to avenge his unit.

You crawl on you belly, though the over growth and the ruined shadows of lives lost to war. Joyelle and jax make it to a small gnoll, to the south of the sip. The rest of the unit spreads out to lessen fire from the ship and spreads damage. But as The unit moves into place someone is spotted, the cry of enemy in the field and be heard and many crew men make toward the few weapons on the ground or up toward the ships deck. On the deck 2 men run for the forward ship mounted bows.

Jaxon's holds his breath when he sees the airmen scrambling. Time seems to slow down. He smiles and closes his left eye, his right eye staring down the sights, he shoots first and foremost for those who attempt to man the heavier guns.

Garroth spends a move action to get closer, then squeezes off a shot at the closest enemy. He'll target those going for the heavy guns first, but if Jax took care of them, he'll go for whoever is closest. Does the repeater give one shot or two on a standard action?

Joyelle sights her bow on one of the airmen climbing onto the ship. No sense leaving them free to snipe when things turned to melee.

Triage fires at one of the men on the ground - to prevent them from becoming armed and a threat.

Gorrath runs forward dropping a man with his bow as Jax puts 2 bolts though one of the men running for the ships bow. Haedric cats web making the forward half of the ship a web wonderland, sticking to the ship and the ground.Joyelle puts and arrow though the chest of a man climbing the ladder as Synatria puts 2 bolts though a man who looks like he might be of higher rank near the ships wheel.Triage fires two bolts into a man scrabbling for a bow silencing him forever . The two men left on the ground scramble toward the side ladder as a mean near the helm runs toward it.

Cursing, he drops his crossbow and and starts running towards the ship (avoiding the webbed section of course).

Buoyed by his success, Triage heads towards the rear of the grounded vessel. He fires at the closest target.

Seeing Garroth move towards the ship, Jax stands and glances at Joyelle." No sense in lettin Garroth have all the fun Darlin', keep me covered. With that he moves forward and slings a vial of alchemist fire directly at the airmen in front of him.
