No you can still act, you will take damage every round you stay in the mist. The save was for something else. You are in agony but can act.
Synatria stumbles away from the mist, her eyes maddened with pain. "...I done....I done...whatIdone...done...donedonedonedone....."
EDIT: If I leave it, will it spread to the rest of the ship? 'Cause if so, then it's time to roll up another character...how about a kender?| Triage |
This is the worst part about living in another time zone! :P
Can we retcon this? lol My post before Synatria's insanity says "He ducks below, ready to do his duty" :P :P
I guess at the very least, I will try to put the "lid" back on this madness!
Triage cannot believe his eyes ... what did the stupid little creature think it was doing?!
"Host spare us! What have you done!?!"
He runs the short distance to the barrel and tries to slam it shut!

Synatria takes one step back, and another, and then leaps back. She watches, to see what happens to Triage. Inside, though, she feels a reservoir of strength.| Doc Phobia |
Don't sweat it mate - it saved Triage from throwing Synatria overboard! ;)
Strength Check = 14 (1d20+3; 1d6) Spending an Action Point too.
Garroth Ur'Than
Garroth snaps off two more shots at the closest Karrnathi marines (assuming Jax doesn't blow 'em out of the sky first).
shot one (1d20+3=10, 1d10=5)
action point (1d6=3) total = 13; probably a stupid move and waste of a point
crit confirm (1d20+3=12, 1d10=2)
He flips the empty clip out. Is it a full round action to reload?

Once again jax's dead eye aim and the explosive bolts prove to much as the 2nd Humming bird is torn part in a cyclone of death.A few escape as 2 men land on the ship behind Haeric as another lands the opposite side of Garroth , 2 more men fly toward the ship
The hold
Triage using all his might slams shut the leak, the mist has done escaped however and the warforged knows agony, He feels as if his very essence is being burnt away in some cold fire18 hp But the barrel is sealed, yet the mist hovers in the hold ripping life from all in it's reach
Haedric Korvin
I'm assuming I can do this.
"Gentlemen.", says Haedric as he turns part of the way around, pointing one hand at the nearest solider while keeping the other on the controls. Two bolts of force slam into him.
Magic Missle: 1d4+2=6, 1d4+1=3
Garroth Ur'Than
Garroth yells to Joy and Jax - "Take care of the two floating this way; you're better with the ranged weapons anyway!"
He drops his crossbow, and runs at full bore towards the man on the deck across from him.
OK, let's try a combat manuever! Garroth charges the guy and attempts to Bull Rush him off the ship and over the side.
Bull Rush (1d20+8=26) Woot!!

Garroth runs across the deck slamming into the solder he is knocked off the ship and falls but about 15 feet he stops and hovers, bringing his crossbow to bear he fires off a shot at gorrath only to hit the ship with a thud. Jax's hammer slams into a flier just as joylles arrow digs deep into the others stomach, They are knocked back a bit but land on the ship and with a cry of "FOR KARRNATH!" open fire on the two, but shaky from the wounds and the landing the shots go wide. Headic fires his missiles hurting the two men on aft but they merely grunt and open fire on the wizard with the heavy Karrnath bows. As three bolts slam into the wizard16hp The two missing members crawl from the hold.

Hmmm didn't work as well as I had planned. Thought they might be able to feather fall, but didn't expect hovering ...
It would seem Haedric is in trouble, so Garroth ignores the man he sent over the railing to charge the one on his side of the ship that attacked Haedric. He lands a vicious jump kick at the end of his charge.
Haedric Korvin
Just checking, I was aiming both bolts at the same guy. If it turns out that didn't kill him...
As the bolts hit him, Haedric slumps down over the controls. Then he begins laughing. If a dead man could laugh, that is what this sounds like. He suddenly looks up and points at the soldier, his grin slightly too wide. "Burn."
Scorching Ray: 1d20+2=18, 4d6+1=13
Garroth Ur'Than
2 points heh, they did fly over here. And sorry haedric, I'll move the damage to the first one, wouldn't have dropped him anyhow but I'll move it to him
Missed that. I got the impression of the smaller ships dropping them on our ship, but looking at the previous posts, that was a bad assumption on my part. Oh well, my bad and waste of a good bull rush! :-)
Joyelle Reynardine
Jax of Cyre
My bad Seeker.
Jaxon drops to the ground where his recovered mark III crossbow was laying before firing at the one he hit the previous roundFree action to fall to ground, move action to recover weapon, standard action to attack. Do I get 2 attacks here? If so-would you make the 2nd for me Seeker?

It's all good guys, Thats why I post to let yall know...Gods know I let posts slide to long myself:)
Haedrik burns ones of the attackers who dies screaming as Garroth moves to strike another, Garroths speed allows him to dodge the man as he swings his bow like a club. Joyelle and Jax finish off the two on there side as Synatria pours healing magic into her badly wounded body. Triage firs and hit the man now boarding as he himself takes a bolt6hp.
You know you do not face Karrnath regulars , they uniform is wrong. The deaths head emblem upon there arms left you know you face the Karrnath death commando's. Soldiers who fight to death and beyond for karrnath. All this runs though you mind in the short seconds it takes the dead men to move. The burning man falls to his knees but then the screaming stops and he starts to raise. The mean Joyelle and jax killed Joyelles falls then begains to stand, jax's never fall dead where he stood. You know this for the bolt is still in his eye. Eyes that now burned with unholy life
Garroth Ur'Than
Despite the horror of the newly-risen undead, Garroth concentrates on his still-living foe.
flurry of blows (1d20+4=14, 1d20+4=12) action point for the first attack action point (1d6=2) =16 damage (1d6+3=7)
Haedric Korvin
"Karrnath never knows when they should quit!", says Haedric as he launches more bolts at the newly-risen undead.
Magic Missile: 9 damage total
Triage
Triage hardly acknowledges the flare of pain from the bolt sticking out of his shoulder - shocked as he is by the transformation of the Karnnathi soldiers into undead minions.
Taking a bold step forward, he attempts to ward off these undead abominations.
His holy symbol of the Sovereign Host held aloft, glittering in the sun, the warforged intones, "Genitus abominor! Tergum ut abyssus vobis!"
taking a 5 foot step (to make sure that last fellow aft is within 60' :) and attempting to turn undead.
spending an action point on the Turning Check (roll 1): 1d6 = 5
so, Turning Check = 14 (most powerful undead affected = 3HD)
Turning Damage = 20HD

Triage
Pathfinder channel works diff then turn undead. You do a burst to positive energy in a 30' bust. All living creatures gain 1d6 hp of healing per 2 levels of cleric . While undead are hurt 1D6 per 2 levels
*Channel Energy (Su)
Any cleric, regardless of alignment, has the power to affect undead creatures by channeling the power of her faith through her holy (or unholy) symbol (see Channel Energy in the Combat Chapter). This power also heals or harms living creatures in the radius.
A good cleric (or a neutral cleric who worships a good deity) channels positive energy, damaging undead creatures and causing them to f lee. An evil cleric (or a neutral cleric who worships an evil deity) channels negative energy, healing undead and bending them to her will. A neutral cleric of a neutral deity must choose whether she channels positive or negative energy. Once this choice is made, it cannot be reversed. This decision also determines whether the cleric can cast spontaneous cure or inf lict spells (see spontaneous casting).
A cleric may channel energy a number of times per day equal to 3 + her Charisma modifier.
*Channel Positive Energy
When you channel positive energy, you unleash a wave of positive energy in a 30-foot burst. All undead in this radius take 1d6 points of positive energy damage plus 1d6 points of positive energy damage for every two cleric levels you have attained beyond 1st (1d6 at 1st level, 2d6 at 3rd, 3d6 at 5th, and so on) and must flee from you (as if frightened) for 1d4 rounds + your Charisma modifier. Undead in this radius are allowed a Will save that negates the frightened condition and results in half damage. The DC of this save is equal to 10 + 1/2 your cleric level + your Charisma modifier. Undead who take damage greater than their hit points crumble to dust and are destroyed by the power of your deity. If a fleeing undead is subject to channeled negative energy, it is not controlled, but does receive a new saving throw to dispel the flee effect.
Living creatures within the area are healed a like amount by this wave of positive energy. You can choose whether or not to include yourself in this effect. Hit points gained above a living creature’s total are
lost.
Triage
d'oh!
I KNEW that! lol
That's what I get for having the "old" PH sitting next to me! I reached for it straight away!
Alrighty then - channeling positive energy
2d6=4 HPs
and flee for 1d4=1 round
Save DC = 11
This will also heal 2 HP for me (half for being a 'forged ;) as well as the others in range.
bah! not as dramatic now! :P :P
Joyelle Reynardine
"Try these sweetheart." He calls out to Joyelle as he retrieves the clip of undead bane and slides it her way before standing to his feet and materializing his hammer
"Got a bow to go with that? Can't use bolts with a shortbow. Well, I could try, but it wouldn't go well."
Joyelle Reynardine
"When they start making lighter crossbows, I'll start carrying them," she says, keeping a hold of her grappling hook in case the undead soldiers close with her before she can get a bow to shoot at them. "I can't do my job right if I'm too weighed down by the equipment."
She watches the enemy closely, using the banter with Jax to distract herself from the fear caused by enemies who don't fall when they die.
Keeper of Forbidden Lore
Garroth attacks his foe, pressing him hard but is unable to get though his defense. Hearic blasts one of the undead but it charges toward him drawling a sword as it moves crossbow falling to it's side in a sling and slices into the wizard 9HP. Synatria fires off two shots at the undead but miss as Triage unleashes a burst of healing magic healing allies close and damaging the undead menace. Jax and Joyelle yell back and forth and jax tosses first a clip then the whole crossbow to joyelle. The Undead open fire upon Triage while yelling " For Karranith!" hitting the warfoged with the powerful bolts 10 HP the other living Karrnaith solder heads toward the ring pulling something from his pouch as he moves
