While this has been a damn long time in the coming, I really hope the gaming community don't go overboard in celebrating it.
There's always some that take it too far, like the idiots that kept sending him death threats(thanks for helping our image guys! sheesh).
Honestly, in this case it feels less like the dragon has been slain and more like the sick dog has been put to sleep. And there's no shortage of people with weighty titles looking to take his place(extra condolences to you European and Australian gamers out there, especially the latter what with the Silent Hill banning).
