Zareth, Knowledge(Nature):
Grigs are known to be mischievous though rarely out right violent. They like a good joke and music. They are not likely to take your color spray personally, as they believe in tit for tat and thus your color spray would be an appropriate response to their pyrotechnics. But since they do believe in tit for tat, the more agressive people are to them, the more agressive they will be. Of all the sprites, grigs seem the most likely to use violence (maybe they have a small fairy complex 8D).

Caster level check: 1d20+2=6
Zareth watchs his spell fizzle against the fey's hide. "Wait a minute, I know what this is. Everyone, it's a grig! They're generally resistant to spells and most weapons, but don't worry! They generally believe in the concept of 'an eye for an eye'. If we don't do anything more it may leave!" Zareth then notices the arrow launched at the fey. "Oh, this is going to be a long night, isn't it?"
The Storyteller
Johnathan moves about blindly for a moment and then listens to what is happening. Zareth blast the creature with a burst of color but it does not seem to effect it. Orion keeps his guard up. The grig laughs at Zareth's in effective spell and says something in sylvan and laughter bounces around the room. Lua casts light on her holy symbol just as the room drops into darkness (not that half the party would realize). And Bel fires an arrow at the tiny creature. Her aim is good but the arrow bounces off harmlessly. The grig looks at her meaningfully though and shouts a word while motioning with drawing its hand across its throat. Bart hears the shouting but nothing is getting closer to him at the moment.
People that can see can roll a sense motive on the grig.
Bel Arrador
Zareth Edemont
"Well, I'm sorry, but I only figured out what it was after you shot it!", Zareth snaps at Bel.
Upon seeing the grig miming cutting a throat in his general direction, Zareth visually pales. "Oh no, we're all going to die. It'll force us to dance an eternal dance, and we're all going to die."
Sense Motive wasn't high enough to register anything.
Luathoria Ithellii
Listening to the chaos around her, Lua hears Bel's fears and responds...in elven"Bel approach and I may be able to help you with resisting their spells."
If she comes to me.(still cant see, blindness 3 rnds left.) I'll cast resistance on her(+1 to next save or 1 hour whichever happens first)
Zareth Edemont
"Are you sure? It looks like a fiddling motion to me." replies Bel in a more toned down voice from before.
"But what are we to do if it tries to make us dance, Zareth?"
"Oh, it's fiddling? Oh, that's even worse. Now we will be dancing for all eternity. Oh, what do we do if it makes us dance? I personally recommend the waltz."
"Oh, sure, offer to help the other elf, no one cares if the wizard ends up dancing for all eternity."
Bartholomew Grey
If Bart has found a wall by now he will continue to try and pinpoint the grig's location, moving around to the other side of the room to try and set up a pincer maneuver.
"Orion, if you can't see you can still defend!! Get that hunk of steel ya' call a shield out and try to stand strong by the others!"
3 rounds of blindness left.
Orion Arygius
Hearing the plight of his allies Orion takes courage and attempts to find his gear.
"I am searching Sir Bartholomew! My eyes still burn and I can't make anything out in the haze."
Blindness rd 2 of 2. Orion is attempting to find his shield and will also try standing if he doesn't find it fairly quickly.
The Storyteller
The little creature was laughing just as Zareth's flask of acid hits it full body. The creature lets out a scream and falls off the ceiling and hits the ground heavily. Another shout of rage follows and a second creature appears in another corner of the room. A fiddle at its chin and it starts sawing at it playing a jig. Will DC 12 everyone. Failure means you spend the next round dancing. Bart you can pick the creature out by listening easily. The creature is acting at init: 1.
Bartholomew Grey
Bart, having very little clue as to what is going on, will attempt to charge the creature as best he can with his greatsword. If nothing else he may be able to distract its fiddle playing.
Bart, with his luck failing him quickly, attempts to resist the creature's song.
Edit: I would have gotten another +2 to hit from the charge but I doubt that it will mater. :)
Luathoria Ithellii
Dance, dance, dance.....will save (1d20+6=11) Bel remember +1 from the resistance spell.Storyteller is this an enchantment? if so I get a +2 and am not dancing.8). just in case.crossing fingers
Johnathan Snow
will save 1d20+0 = 16
not sure if this is a new round but if so Round 3 of 3 for blindness
Johnathan listening to the combat begins to hear the sound of Violin being played. he is suddenly struck by the feeling that he should not listen to the music and crouchs down covering his ears.
Zareth Edemont
Will save: 1d20+5=24
[ooc]Also, can I figure out what the effect is? Spellcraft[/ooc]:1d20+10=24
Bel Arrador
Luathoria Ithellii
My action was the delay/cast resistance on Bel.I will be gone the rest of the weekend,so here is my plan...cast guidance on Zareth(+1 on a single attack, save or skill check, his choice or 1 minute whichever comes first.)Then I will stay put, full defense and heal as necessary.Still blind.;)" Here Zareth, let Ehlonna help you."
The Storyteller
The sprite seeing nobody dancing gets extremely frustrated, stops playing and disappears. It can be heard scrambling out on to the roof through one of the many holes in the ceiling. Then a buzzing sound like a large insect flying can be heard.
Two rounds will go by before you hear anything else if you don't follow. Please post what you'd like to do during this time.
Bartholomew Grey
"What in the bloody hell is going on now?" asks Bart in frustration as he hears the creature flit away from him. He continues to blink his eyes, trying to get the spots to disappear.
2 rounds of blindness left if we're still in initiative.
Storyteller: Would you mind posting a quick summary of each combat round from now on when one has completed? I think that would help make things a little less confusing since most of us are posting out of turn due to necessity.
Zareth Edemont
"I say we just stay inside for now. We don't want to have any more combat while half of us are still blinded."
After Lua' casts Guidance on him, Zareth says, in Elven "Thank ink, oh, I mean, Thank you. 'Oh, you don't need to take another course of elven, you probably won't have to deal with an elf for years.' Great idea, Zareth."
Johnathan Snow
After Johnathan regains his sight he will look around the room.
If he spots the creature hit by the acid he will go over to it and look for signs of life. If it seems to be alive still he will administer a one of his potions of Cure light wounds to bring it around while gripping it firmly to make sure it does not escape.
skill checks if required
Spot check 1d20+4 = 19
Heal check 1d20 = 15 (untrained)
Orion Arygius
"Is everybody all right?" Orion calls as he breathes a deep sigh of relief. He begins searching around for his lantern to light it and then will quickly glance outside in the direction of the fleeing fey.
Listen in case it's needed to discern direction: 1d20+0=18 and Spot: 1d20+0=9. Afterwards he will ask questions such as what the creatures were, how the attack occurred, and if anybody (particularly Zareth) thinks it would return.
The Storyteller
The blindness occurred during the surprise round.
At the end of round 4:
The party hears music playing in the distance. Orion, who is at the door, hears the sound coming from an overgrown field near the house. A patch of the overgrown grasses start to shake, they are too tall to tell exactly what is causing the violent action.
Begin round 5.
Luathoria Ithellii
Lua will don her buckler, grab up her armor and stuff it in her pack."Thank Ehlonna I can see again. We should probably leave...Whats out there?" unfortunately thats her actions for the rnd. donning studded leather takes 10 rnds or 5rnds hastily, bleh.Aside to Zareth in elven"your welcome"
Bel Arrador
"So we're going after whatever it is then? No time like the present then to discover what it is."
Bel will gather up her equipment lucky for me I put my armor on already and proceed to head for the outer world.
"So who's coming along for such a task?" Bel asks the party before leaving.
The Storyteller

Just so you know, you can sleep in studded leather (any light armor actually) without penalty. Given how nervous she was initially, I wouldn't think it out of character for her to have been in the armor. Now people with heavier armor, no endurance feat (helps with medium), and not on watch, *glances at the paladin* well...

cool, then , if you dont mind, she will already be in her armor and will scoop up her rapier and bow instead.8)!
Bartholomew Grey
Bart, having some knowledge of heavy armor, will help Orion strap his on as everyone gets prepared.
He says to Orion, "We're buying some oiled tents at the next town we go to. If the entire road is rife with such shelter as this then I fear we won't even make it to our destination."
To everyone else Bart says, "I don't know if I'll be able to sleep much after this interruption. Perhaps it would be best to try and continue on, now that the rain has stopped. We should be able to catch some more sleep once we get a few extra miles down the road."
Orion Arygius
"I don't like the look of this." Orion says glancing back to his companions. "Something is coming back our way." The young man will return to the others with hasty strides and an equally quick gathering up of his gear.
Noticing Bart's offer for assistance Orion will wave him off politely. "Thank you Sir Bartholomew but perhaps we should leave first? I am hoping we can depart before any creatures make an appearance or re-appearance."
Lost in thought for a moment a look of insight appears over Orion's handsome face. "Maybe we could use a distraction to buy some time? I had a friend once who could do wondrous things under Moradin's name, might we have something like that now?"
Orion will do his utmost to gather all the gear together in the cart in order to beat a hasty retreat.
Bartholomew Grey
Bart nods to the younger man.
"I had thought as much myself. Whatever is out there wasn't bothering anyone until we came along. If we leave and try and find a dry spot to camp further up the round, we may be able to bed down again and give the first watch some sleep."
Bart will start packing up his own gear and loading them into the wagon unless someone else has a more convincing plan.
Luathoria Ithellii
"Wait Bel, we're leaving, not investigating." Lua will grab her gear and head towards her horse, keeping an eye out...spot (1d20+5=16)
Johnathan Snow
Johnathan will get his armour that he left to dry. he will pack it away hastily Insted of putting it on. he will fetch and load his hand cross bow as well.
"Best we be quick with our departure, I didn't much care for that blinding and i don't want to see what else they have in store for us"
Bel Arrador
Hearing Lua call out to her, Bel turns back, noticing the party is departing with the cart in the other direction.
"Hmm, perhaps this is for the best then." replies Bel, as she makes her way to the cart instead.
I'll make my way onto the cart, having my bow drawn in case there's any enemies that make their way to us.
