Orion Arygius
"I shall never get any rest while soaked like this," The young man says wringing out his cloak as best he can. "I will take up watch with Bel if that is all right."
Orion begins once again to search around the room gathering more branches and bringing them to the fireplace. "If no body objects I can light a fire and we can get dry while waiting this storm out."
Orion will light a fire if everybody agrees. After that he will open his jug and place it in the rain to refill. He will also chat quietly with Bel if given the chance, don't know if you want that RPed. Finally if the storm lets up at all Orion will volunteer to do some rounds about the farmhouse lighting his torch to see.
The Storyteller
Zareth looks at the object and realizes that it is in fact a tiny arrow. Thinking about what he knows, he remembers hearing stories of tiny fairies who uses such arrows. The stories are almost always of mischief caused by such creatures, in the worst cases they can if angered make someone forget everything they know, sleep for centuries, or even kill the offender.
At the same time, Johnathan and Orion are moving about the room, they both come across a small stash of items after Orion moves some wood to be used for the fire. A small clay jug is present there as well as some minor bits of jewelry.

Johnathan looks over the items in detail and decides them to be of little use to him and promptly moves his attention to other things in the room Searching around the room for small nooks or crannies that may have been used to hide other objects that would attract his attention more things like money or strange devices he is not familiar with
Orion Arygius
Noticing some items Orion bends down to inspect them further. After a moment he brings them over to his elven watch-mate.
"Bel what do you make of these?" He holds his hand out to the elven maiden with a curious look on his face. "I hope somebody hasn't lost them."
Geez, that was a brutal roll for my search check. I'll add search to my character stats for easier reference.
The Storyteller
After the order of watches has been decided, Bart, Lua, Zareth, and Johnathan settle down to rest, finding some dry patches of ground where they are no holes yet in the roof. The storm lets out after a few hours and Orion and Bel wake Bart and Johnathan for their watch. After about an hour on watch, both Bart and Johnathan hear something very quietly moving on the roof.
Luathoria Ithellii
Lua will roll over in her sleep/reverie moaning something in Elven about Fey and sleep arrows...clutching the small arrow in her hand.

Wow, can you make all my rolls for me? :)
Bart will look over at Jonathan to see if he has heard anything as well, nod, and point up towards the roof. He'll then make a show of unsheathing his large greatsword sitting beside him and sharpening it with a whetstone.
Bart then whispers to Snow, "Could just be some wildlife, or it could be something trying to get back into its home. Should we wake the others or see how this plays out?"
With that he continues to move his eyes around the room, paying particular attention to the roof.
The Storyteller
As soon as the two on guard whisper, the sound stops. All that can be heard is the breathing of the companions and the crackle of wood burning in the fireplace.

Johnathan loads his hand cross bow "it could be nothings lets just be on our guard for now" looking around at his sleeping companions "its best to just let them sleep wouldn't want to wake them for no reason"
Bart nods. "Agreed."
He continues to sharpen his sword, making sure one hand is on the pommel at all times. He makes small talk with Jonathan while they look out.
"Did you have to travel far to get here Master Snow? I'm from the borderlands myself and seem to be a country bumpkin compared to most of our companions."
Bart will continue on like this for the rest of the watch unless something else happens.
The Storyteller
Bart and Johnathan both hear two small high pitched voices coming from the direction of the fireplace. They appear to be whispering.
Voice 1: "Looks like we got some visitors, hmm."
Voice 2: "Yes it does. And it looks like they've gotten into our stash. Naughty, Naughty."
Voice 1: "We'll have to teach them some manners, good thing they didn't drink our moonshine."
Johnathan, you recognize that the voices are false, that it is not really coming from direction of the fireplace.
Bartholomew Grey
whispering to Bart "theres something a mis about those voices better wake the others" calmly and johnathan will take his crossbow in hand, he then moves over to Orion scanning the room for movement as he goes. he nudges Orion to wake him "we have uninvited visitors"
Bart simply nods with a grave look on his face and goes about waking up Zareth, Bel, and Lua.
The Storyteller
The voices, no longer whispering, begin jumping around the room, coming from different corners, the ceiling, walls, chairs, even from the direction of some of your companions. Sometimes in common, sometimes in sylvan.
"Yes wake them up, everybody should be awake for the fun."
"Fun, fun, we will surely entertain our guests."
Zareth Edemont
"Oh, what is it? Something on the... oh. There just had to be a reason for this place to be abandoned, didn't there? Now, wake up, you silly raven. There are strange things afoot."
Zareth is once more on his feet, with the raven once more on his shoulder. He loads his crossbow.

Lua rises from her reverie...."whats going on? Ahh the owners of this tiny arrow have returned..."She will sit calmly on the floor and say in elven"Thank you for your hospitality, the shelter was much appreciated in the storm. I hope we didn't disturb you too much."

Bart, eyebrow cocked, is looking around the room rather confusedly, not having much experience in such fantastic matters.
He blows quickly into his mustache before saying, "I assure you we meant no trespass. We are only travelers seeking shelter from the rain. Surely, for just one night, we can all share this place."

This is what is called "fate", since they do not appear to understand your words, they make take it as you threatening them. ;)
Orion Arygius
Slowly awakening the young man takes a look at Johnathan.
"What is happening?" He asks as the voices leaping around the room answer his question. Orion then scans the room quickly and finding nothing but more confused conversations from every direction he rises and searches his bags.
"I can't see anything in this darkness," His face lights up suddenly as he grips something. "Perhaps my lantern can aid us here." Then he calls out to the mysterious voices. "I am lighting my lantern, I do not mean to harm you!"
Spot 1d20+0=3. If given the chance Orion will light his bullseye lantern and use it to check around the room. He won't grab a weapon but will keep them nearby just in case.

Ebonfeather's Will Save: 1d20+5=16
Zareth recognizes one effect as ventriloquism and just has time to realize the other is pyrotechnics.
Zareth, Ebonfeather, and Bel wisely turn away from the fire once it starts to "pop". The others instinctively turn towards it to see what is happening, just in time to see a huge burst of light, blinding them momentarily. The fire is extinguished by the explosion of light.

Zareth, Ebonfeather, and Bel as they turn away from the fire they see on the ceiling a tiny creature appear. The creature seems to have the lower body of a cricket or grasshopper and the upper body of an elf-type creature. A big smile is on its face as the explosion goes off. You three can react to the creature before the light in the rundown house goes out.

"So, you little pest, you like bright lights, do you? Now, let's see how you like mine, shall we?"
Zareth then takes a handful of multicolored sand and flings it at the fey while muttering arcane words. The sand changes into a blinding burst of multicolored light. (Color Spray: DC 13, Will negates)

Orion Arygius
Initiative: 1d20+1=11
With the brilliant lights searing into his eyes Orion can do little but cover them and stumble trying to find his way.
Orion will spend the first round doing nothing of import.
Bartholomew Grey
Bart will just be using his greatsword like a cane to try and make his way to a wall and orient himself.
"That's how you want to play it, huh?"
Bart looks none too pleased as he stumbles around but tries to get a bead on the high pitched voices as he makes his way to the wall.
Johnathan Snow
Initiative 1d20+3 = 21
Binded round 1 of 3
Johnathan covers his eyes and too late to protect from the flash of light stumbles around blinded. a few seconds and he composes himself and listens closely to the sounds in the room to warn him of impending danger.
Johnathan will take total defense (if possible while blinded)unless he becomes aware of the room getting darker in which case he will fumble around in his bag for his everburning torch to light the room
