Hey all,
regarding Gal's last post; I know it may seem a little...intense. But I just want to make it clear I personally have nothing against you seekerofshadowlight, in fact I think you've been playing your character well. But the undead are abominations to all Druids and to Wild Druids in particular so I'm just playing Gal out that way.
But if anyone thinks it's too much, just let me know and I can dial it down. Cool?

Hey David, I'm planning on having Gal use his Summon Animals ability as a Wild Druid, so just wanted to make sure it was kosher with you before I did it IC. You can check it all out on his profile page under the Wild Druids description and on his character sheet. If you have any questions, problems, changes etc please just lemme know. Thanks

David
The basics are they add a feat to make undead it is handled much like golem creation.
you can control 4hd per level of ones you make. it has costs and other things for most undead in it I can post them hear if your interested.the
2nd thing it adds is 9 new spells called animate dead. they work much like the summon and the dead stay 1/rd per level and cant be animated again.
It is subjected you remove animate, create undead and create greater undead from the spell list. As the new spell makes short term minions and the new feat handles it just like any other creation skill.
If your willing to think about it I would be happy to send ya the feat and can post the guild lines for undead creation.

lol yup, sure is easy to get his hackles up ;-) But he's also stubborn as a mule and Knows he is right so...:P
Btw, there's been a very interesting discussion on undead, zombies in particular, in another PbP I'm in on another board. Basically it's been agreed that essentially zombies, being mindless creatures don't and shouldn't Have an alignment. They can be used for Any purpose so are essentially just a Tool, same as a sword or a shovel. You could get them to dig you a hole, for good or bad purposes and you can get them to attack a foe, also for good or bad purposes. In one of the Necromancers Backgrounds he had been the master of a small village in a swamp and his zombies had been used to protect the villagers from the animals of the swamp thereby making it livable for them. They also performed many other mundane functions in the town. And everything was hunky dory. Until the day a group of adventurers came by, in horror 'rescued' all the poor 'duped or controlled' villagers by slaying all the zombies and driving away the necromancer and then went happily on their way. Then, of course, within a few days, with no zombies to keep them at bay, the animals of the swamp overwhelmed the village and the 'rescued' villagers were all slain and eaten. So no, personally I don't think zombies are inherently evil...but good luck convincing Gal of that though! (And No throwing this particular story back at him! lol ;-)
And then also of course other, more intelligent undead are a different story. As is as well the Making of Undead, which many feel, regardless of the purpose, Is an evil act. Some do stand by the idea though that since zombies Are animated with Negative Energy that even they too are inherently evil...so...? Guess it's one of those morally Grey areas.
Still, lots of good fuel for debate though, eh? ;-)

Actually, you are both wrong. Corean is the one, true god and you should all be worshiping him. See, it says so right here in this pamphlet. *hands over pamphlets* Go ahead and take them, I've got plenty more...

The zombie talk has been an old one. acts of evil are sometimes not evil to there cultures. I myself never saw mindless undead as an evil thing and creating them as the same. Then we have eberron deathless which are undead powered by positive energy.
Loved the story btw thats great. Ya should check out hallowfaust it has many great ideal for non evil undead use.
Besides the nerco-druid banter is fun

LMAO JR. I've been meaning to ask btw, what Is Miss LG Kelindra's take on zombies hanging around with us? She hasn't said anything IC. I was assuming that she'd be on Gal's side!
*Hurt* :(lol
And ya, I'm enjoying the banter too :P But if anyone else ever thinks we're taking up too much space IC please just let us know! K?

Oh! I guess that was our notice that the rest of the gang wasn't enjoying our squabble as much as we were ;-)
We can tone it down I am sure, but the Necromancer's and Wild Druid's natures are diametrically opposed so I can't see the squabble going away entirely any time soon. Sorry :P

You'd think so wouldn't you? She's far to ego- and ethno-centric to care about rats one way or the other, really. It's not as if they have *souls* for her to worry about.
I'm hoping that as our adventures progress, she'll grow out of her "lawful stupid" attitude and shift to more of a neutral. She's going to learn to analyze each issue on its own merits, XP penalties be damned!
Still, Gal and that necromancer are both heathens (notice that she hasn't even bothered to learn his name yet.) She'll be having a long talk with both of you later...

I'm sure it's all good. That was an appropriate in-character response for Gin. Monks are used to concentration and discipline. I'm sure all that bickering was getting on his nerves. Besides, Gal made a monk lose his cool...he should pat himself on the back.

Not in quite a while now. It just seemed logical that a reptilian scaled species would have some sort of similar nickname. Nice catch there.

Hello, David, gang.
One of the PbP campaigns I've been playing has gone dark, and the other has been very quiet for several weeks.
I've also just this week picked up much of the Scarred Lands campaign material, and it looks like a lot of fun.
If an opening should occur in this campaign, I'd be honored if you'd consider me.

Well we lucky few Living in the Caribbean have been enjoying some great weather JR so i'm sure you'll have a Great time. Enjoy! =D
And hey, were we supposed to get Paid or anything for our first mission? And is Soll still with us?
Yeah you were supposed to get payed. Barconius offers each of you 150 gp, or a +1 magical weapon of your choice. Soll has wandered off from the rest of the group and you currently do not know where he is other than he stated he needed a drink.

Good deal Chris. I will be in touch if something happens.

For those of you that celebrate it, have a very Merry Christmas. For those of you that don't, have a wonderful day anyway =)
David, thanks for being our DM. I think I speak for everyone when I say we're really enjoying the campaign and we appreciate all the hard work you've put into it.

Happy Christmas Eve, those of you of the Jesus persuasion.
Hopefully no gets a visit from the Krampus.
