Here's a quick little idea I had... make lay on hands 1d4*level*Cha bonus. If the paladin wants to heal someone, he states a number of dice and rolls them. All other uses of lay on hands (cure disease, heal ability damage, etc.) use dice of healing instead of uses/day - cure disease would use 2 dice, remove curse 3, etc.

Yeah, I'm against "uses per day" for Lay On Hands, just because getting to spread the healing out as much as you like is pretty cool and means a high-level paladin can heal a *lot* of low-level characters.
That said, the way the Pathfinder team is trying to run the beta is by only putting up one forum for a slender list of topics at a time, and currently they're doing ability scores and races, so hold on to this idea for another week or three and post it when they put up the classes forum.
