Here's a female character if anyone would like to try:

Farellon Aear Bereth

Half-elf ranger -- profession: Sailor (Andoran)
Long brown hair - loosely bound in pony tail, blue eyes, 6 feet tall

Blue cloak with hood, black tunic, black trousers, calf boots.
Leather armor.

She's a two-blade specialist - both longswords.

Thanks to whoever wishes to tackle it. :)

Dude, that is so close to my girlfriend's last PC that it almost hurts. She rolled with a breastplate, rapier, and bastard sword, however. If someone does some real art, I'll throw in a mini-sized piece.

Ah, that'd be sweet! Funnily enough, one of her original swords was a bastard sword, but she swapped it for a +2 cold-iron longsword. (She ended up getting the better end of the deal.)

Earlier you asked about sets - for some reason I immediately thought about a dwarven warrior band set. I don't even play dwarfs. Much.

Fan art is one thing - art using someone else's IP for profit is something else entirely.

I keep the Paizo-ish art to the games I (or my roommate) run at home until Lisa, Erik, James, Wes, or someone else with say-so power says, "we'd love for you to sell our awesome monster designs to the unsuspecting gaming public!"

Then I die of the world's biggest nerd-gasm. :P

These are going to be for sale, and I'm so small potatoes as to be unworthy of getting some kind of licensed gig from Paizo, so that's off the table until something impossibly amazing happens. 'Sides, Paizo's got a line of REAL minis--do they really want to compete with themselves like that? Methinks not.

I could do dwarves--they're kinda everywhere in the "real" mini world, though. But I guess that's 'cause everyone needs an army of dwarves to fight their army of orcs. I mean, if you can't use your dwarves, you can't fight your orcs! How can you have any orcs if they don't fight your dwarves?!

You! Yes, you, behind the tower shield! STAND STILL, LADDY! :P

Heh. Perhaps their ubiquitousness (is that a word?) is the reason I thought of it. :P

hugo, your mini is up--both "shaded" and black-and-white.

I'll have to hold off on doing fun stuff for the weekend--I've got to whip up the minis for my CocT game on Sunday. Oops. :)

Thanks a lot! I love it! The "Shaded" version is great ;P

Thanks a lot again. I'll pay back the favor soon :)

PS: I second the sunday's minis request!

Okay, here he is. I decided to have a little fun by drawing him about to perform instead of the usual "heroic action pose" that I always tend to do so I hope you don't mind. Also, this allowed me to put the emphasis on his lute as I didn't have much success drawing a convincing ice sword in pencil. The dragonfang dagger is based off a velociraptor claw so I hope that is somewhat close to what you pictured it.

Daghnaen DeGalt.

Wow, Jack, that's a really great drawing! I change my previous post, could I get a character drawn by you? I love your style. I can provide character data.

SWEEEEEET!! I love the way you drew the dagger, not how I pictured it, but I actually like your interpretation better! I like the action pose, also. Ol' Daghny-boy did a lot of playin' at the taverns and inns along the way.

It reminds me of an early incident in that campaign when the party's half-orc barbarian, Oz, decided to challenge the halfling monk, Chun to a friendly bare-knuckle boxing match. Daghnaen accomapnied the fight with a little inspiration music (which, of course, aided both of them).

Chun won, by the way.

Great, jack! I love the pose! The tiny mouse its a great detail Another great piece of artwork, congrats!

This is nice. reminds me of the 80's CRPGS the Bard's Tale.

btw, that is a HUGE compliment. I loved those games. You seemed to have captured the fun and cheekiness of those games in this figure perfectly.

Cool, good to hear, bards are cut from a different cloth than many of the other classes and there was a certain whimsy nature that I was going for with the drawing. :-)

Sure--thay won't be stand-up minis, though-- it's a batch of tokens I literally drew in ten minutes, and since my roommate is a PC, they won't be scans, but I'll see what kind of camera action we can come up with. I can also do some shots of the minis from the end of "Edge of Anarchy", time permitting. I'll bury them in a spoiler tag for those anticipating a CocT game.

Thanks for the love!

Oh, and Hugo--glad you like the mini, and apologies for any inconsistencies between what you wanted and what I whipped up. Personally, it's one of my favorites--enough so that I'm tempted to make him into an NPC sometime. You gotta send me some info on that guy's backstory--or at least his name!

Here it goes Seekerofshadowlight!

Akori of the Wastes

I hope I got your picture of your character right! I made this guy a bit "darker" in the skin than the others. The tatoos are egycian-like, I hope this was somewhat alike to what you had in mind. I put the kopesh resting in his shoulders to express how "comfortable" he is with it and as a sign of how reliable it is. I left him with litthe equipment no to make it too heavy since the skin is also dark. I lef the shoulderdress and pants in a clear tone to make a nice contrast with the surrounding elements. I hope the symbol of Pharasma is big enough... I added a few bettles to get him in good favor!

Here's the linework if someone wants to put some color on it ;) Akori in lines

I hope you like it!

Nice job, Hugo. The sword is great!

Great! I'll do some googling & post links/notes in a little while.

EDIT: crocodile games has some minis with decent examples of Egyptian clothing. Its really sort of a kilt/skirt that opens on one or both sides in the front. Below the skirt, a loin cloth would be worn for modesty. Here are some links to their minis to get an idea of the flavor.

here is one

another

this one works, too

I had some trouble finding a good illustration or picture, so i went with the minis. Azim would likely not wear a shirt, but the bracers and possible an amulet would work fine. I'm also ok with Tattoos, so feel free to embelish a little.

well hugo you don have to add anything to the sash if ya don't want it looks good. I took the ideal of a prayer sash from alter cloths and prayer rugs here is a few examples if your interested
rugs
Kazark prayer rug

baluch prayer rug

schapira prayer rug

alter cloths
1]celtic Triquetra

wiccian goddess alter cloth

alter cloth

I always thought it more like the alter cloths myself .

one other thing what is that by the arrows on his back?

yeah just a touch. sort of on par with a bloodline feat rather than an ECL+1 race.
