Yeah, the Gamer's Den'll do that to ya. They've got some damn good ideas and know their stuff but their members are about as mature as my friend's kid.

But by his own logic, Daigle's wrong -- right Daigle?

But if you slow the DVD down reeeeaaaalllllly slowly, Greedo takes a piece of shrapnel in the eye from his own shot. Han's shot was really to try and hide just how incompetent Greedo was.

Hello Steve
Oh, Hi Ed
Someone left me this "L" and I don't know what to do with it
Why don't you put it in the middle of your forehead?
Yeah thanks, no, I'm just kidding
It's not my "L"
Umm... I was thinking though you could sing like a La La La song with the letter "L"
Yeah, sounds great...
No I'm serious, you know you could sing some La La La's and then some pretty words that start with "L"
You'd have a nice litte song there.
Oh you mean like La La La La!
No, c'mon give it a try.
Okay...

La La La La... Lemon
La La La La... Lightbulb
(I guess...)
La La La La Lamppost
(This is Fun!)
La La La La Lump in my oatmeal!!

I think we're almost there...
I was just thinking sort of more lovely lilting words that start with "L"
Like this...
La La La La Laughter
(Uh huh)
La La La La Lullaby
(Alright)
La La La La Lollipop
(Ahhh...)
La La La La Lights in the sky!!

I got one...
You're going to love this one..
I love it already. Let's hear it.
La La La La Linoleum!!
*sigh*
Listen to me...
'Cause "L" is such a lovely letter...
(That's true)
For words like licorice and lace the letter "L" lights up your face
So why not La La La La LA!!!!
With me!!
*fades out singing first verse*

How bout this.
So tha munchkin wizard summons an efreeti and totally Cinderellas the poor sot. Makes him make a bathrobe of the archmage.....a magical bathtub....a toaster...
So the efreeti files a complaint up his chain of command.
So...the pasha of the efreeti sends a punishment squad of 8 fire genasi like...14th level fighters, with fire hair like Phoenix from the X-men, and chainmail bikinis that are red hot glowing like a horseshoe in the blacksmith's furnace.....cos these ladies are hot, literally and figuratively,
so they get the guy and,....
oh, wait. That'll make him summon another efreeti.

Hey do any of you guys know if Paizo has an email address to send complaints about other posters to?

I want to say webmaster@paizo.com but I'm not 100% sure of it.

You could always try customer service (which I believe should at least get you to Cosmo who should be able to point you in the right direction if needed) at customer.service@paizo.com.

EDIT:
Just checked here and it appears that webmaster@paizo.com is indeed the correct address.

One of the things that always bugged me about people who claim that they don't care what other people think about them is that they believe that this attitude gives them a full license to act like an ego-driven sociopath.

I got my ego-driven sociopath permit years ago, but keep flunking the test for the full license. I was trying really hard for a while there, too, but I always lost focus and would accidentally apologize or think about how I screwed something up and the examiner would tell me to go take the practice course again.

You know, reading just a couple of those links reminded me of when I tried Xbox Live. Quite often our teams had to deal with a 9 year old that believed the game allowed them the license to spew profanities. Sounded like Mickey Mouse with Tourettes.

Other gamers just jumped in to mess with your team and cause you to lose. Etc, etc. Weird/sad how some people get their jollies.

At least now you can mute/report the turds.

I'm beginning to waver on my "I believe in light or no moderation" stance. Insulting specific individuals or using hate speech has always been off-limits.

One thing I will say though, some of the people I was less keen on seem positively huggable in comparison.

Careful Tarren, you give up on no/self-moderation and you're one step closer to censorship....

I know what you mean, but the situation currently is mainly down to the recent release of the beta, and will probably fade as the issues are dealt with, one way or another. I have wondered whether the fact that the board is self-moderating helps exacerbate the situation, since it comes down, to some extent, to other members to call poor behaviour (and may therefore encourage flaming). On the other hand, the fact that Paizo is apparently a fairly civilised place suggests that maybe that isn't the case, or at least on balance it works alright with most posters. (I say apparently, since I don't really post anywhere else.) And with one or two exceptions, I think it might be dawning on people that aggressive or dismissive posting only creates more trouble than it is worth.

I think light moderation is great but no moderation is a recipe for trouble.

I'm glad that Paizo is trusting of us and wields the hammer lightly, but I think when the hammer falls it should fall with certainty.

(And I'm really starting to think a couple of people have clearly crossed certain lines that should not be crossed in polite society.)

I don't think defending your home requires civility. Time to make a stand. Ecrasez l'infame! Don't let it root and fester. Get your pitchfork, David! We march! ;)

It's not the pitchfork that bothers me. It's the fact that I might become bitter and start clinging to guns and religion.

The L word ain't lesbian.

Did you hear that the residents of the Isle of Lesbos sued in Greek court to try and make it illegal for gay women to call themselves lesbians. They claimed it was robbing them of their cultural heritage. They lost the case, but it was still funny.
