Hi all. Does anyone know any adventures that take place in the plane of Gehenna. Any info would be greatly appreciated, since much to my player's chagrin, their characters ended up gating into Gehenna.
Offhand, I vaguely recall seeing an adventure in one of the Dungeon issues that took place in Gehenna but I could be wrong. When I have some spare free time this week, I'll take a look through my library. The Manual of the Planes and the Planar Handbook are both great resources for information regarding Gehenna.
Cheers

I have all the published adventures I own in an Excel file, but there was nothing listed for Gehenna. I would suggest taking a regular adventure with a lot of horror and creepiness in it, and change the location to Gehenna. Make the NPCs yugoloths, and add the fiendish template to the monsters.
You could also have them travel to the Styx and encounter Charon (if they have the right level). Charon could also give them a job, e.g. "If you solve this problem for me, I will show you the way out." or "I will only let you pass if you solve this problem for me."

Off the top of my head, I don't know of any adventures in Dungeon magazine itself that take place in Gehenna. There also aren't that many in any other sources either. There's an adventure in one of the larger Planescape box sets that touches on Gehenna in passing, and there's a third party d20 adventure published by Enkwell press called The Love of Art:Drawn to Gehenna (which sadly I don't have a copy of, and they appear to no longer be around).
Gehenna is one of the more overtly hostile Outer Planes, but even so I've used it more than a few times in my own home campaigns. Lots of cool stuff involving the plane to be pillaged for use however in the following sources:
Planes of Conflict - source #1 to look at. More detail on Gehenna than all of the 3e WotC sourcebooks combined. Especially loved the city of Portent, and the Tower Arcane as points of interest.
Hellbound: The Blood War - source #2 to look at. One of the modules in here, 'Squaring the Circle' takes place in Torch, Gehenna's gatetown on the Outlands, and briefly into Gehenna itself (though you might not notice that last part, since it's a brief foray into the lair of the baernaloth, Daru ib Shamiq, which is an isolated pocket plane without connection to Gehenna at large).
Gehenna has shown up in my campaign/storyhour, but largely as an NPC plot backdrop rather than an adventure locale for the PCs. I did send the PCs to Portent once, and they once visited the Tower Arcane in an incredibly ill-advised move.

Asylum, the finale of The Shackled City Adventure Path takes place in Gehenna. Of course, that adventure is very specific to the campaign and is for level 20.
I'd say go with the above suggestions. You could also easily switch adventures that take place in other lower planes and convert them to Gehenna. Hellbound: The Blood War boxed set has lots of great information about battlefields in Gehenna and a a few adventures that can be tied together to make a great backbone for a campaign. Planes of Conflict boxed set has lots of material about Gehenna and some sample adventures that take place there. I never ran those adventures but I remember the ones included in that boxed set as well as the ones in Planes of Law and Planes of Chaos to be a little sparse on details but were decent bare bones adventures.
For newer material there is a teeny bit about Gehenna in Expedition to the Demonweb Pits but not worth picking up simply for that. I recently ran the supermodule and it was awesome but not worth it for the tiny bit that takes place in Gehenna.
Best of luck in finding something to entertain your players.

Doesn't part of The Jackals' Redemption, from Dungeon #95, take place on Gehenna?
I think so. Another Dungeon adventure (Mellorn Hospitality, not sure what issue but I think somewhere around the 90s or low 100s) features some villains from Gehenna (IIRC) but very little (if any) of the action takes place there.

I found a place where an e-copy can be bought. I already have :) It is at http://www.direkobold.com/

What level does a character have to be to encounter Charon? Does Charon really offer quests? I've never dealt much with the planes so I simply don't know. Thanks for any help.

Charon was in the Savage Tide Adventure Path and he is pretty high. In Tome of horrors (if you have that book) he is CR23. Charon could give quests if someone or something is messing with "his" river, or if there is a problem with transporting souls across the Styx.
Charon could give PC's the job of finding a thief stealing souls from his boats, for example. Charon has yugoloths working from him, I think these are the piscoloths (or the Charonadaemons if you have Tome of horrors - they are CR9).
If Charon is too high, just use a charonadaemon leader to give them the job.
I made a similar adventure for a high-level party. In the adventure "illegal" soul transports were taking place: some devils were kidnapping non-evil souls for "processing" in Minauros. In the adventure the group has to follow such a transport and infiltrate, and try to dismantle the whole organization. When following the transport, they have to follow the river Styx until they arrive at an unloading dock in Avernus, and follow the transport "over land". I added some river encounters such as the living shipwreck from Dungeon Magazine and several xerfylstyxes. But again, the CRs of these monsters are pretty high, but I guess there are other aquatic devils. Or you can make fiendish aquatic creatures.
