Who knew soccer was that big of a deal?
I would have expected the pubs to fill up for soccer in Britain or Argentina; not so much in Houston! Anyway, I can probably leave this accursed office at a reasonable time most evenings this week, if you want to try again Thursday. Let's also exchange cel phone numbers over email prior to departure, in case of another SNAFU!

What are you guys doing this Sunday afternoon? Anyone down to roll some dice? Although I still can't find my good d20...
I could totally go for a game on Sunday. What do you say, Derek, does Cadogan want to start trying to acquire that fortune? Mundane, do you feel like rolling who Jaak is on Sunday?

Um, Cadogan doesn't have any wits. He tries to get by on his charm and pure nerve. Why do you think he keeps making such bone headed decisions?

Sorry BT, already in Arizona, headed up to Colorado Thursday/Friday. :(
LOL!
What brings you to Colorado?
If you're near Colorado Springs on Thursday we have pool and drinking. (Our drinking team has a pool problem.) Diane is DD.
If I don't leave for Texas until Saturday then we're hosting Star Wars d20 on Friday.
Y'all have a good trip in any case!

BT, if you make it down as far as Houston, give me a heads-up. I'd feed you dinner and some beers, maybe break out the scotch if you had time. I've enjoyed talking with you on the boards.
If I go to the Houston area it will be a special trip just to meet folks. I'm not a big fan of densely populated cities, but I'd be happy to set a night aside to finally meet some more folks from the boards.
I'd love to have some beers with you guys. I'll be happy to reply to an email with my cell number.
Take care.

Sans_Serif,
They run PFS every Monday at Asgard Games on Kirby, just south of U.S. 59. It's on the same side of the street as the McDonalds, across the side street in a small strip center.
Here's a link to their forums.
The peeps in this thread pretty much are the "Kirthfinder" group.
Link to the Kirthfinder thread, link to the houserules in the first post..
Hope that helps!

Psyched for "Kirthfinder" (aka S.H.I.T.) on Sunday (the 8th)! We might even be able to have a full-sized group -- 3-6 players. I'm free all day, and can host or drive as needed. I "replied all" to Andostre's email -- looking forward to hearing from everyone else.
What time is good for people?
If you're all right with it, it will probably be at your place. I could host it at my place, but we'd have to evacuate in time for my son's bedtime at 6:30, which doesn't seem like it fits our schedule.
Otherwise, any time is good for me. Maybe TOZ has more input, since he's driving in?

Tell you what -- I'll be ready anytime starting at 14:00 CST. If TOZ & cyz get here early, we can hang out and play with the kittens until at least one other person arrives. Then we can maybe start the game and roll people in as it goes. If all six players eventually can make it (whioch would be awesome!) I can always press the sofa and easy chair into service to accommodate any overflow from the table. We can play here until 20:00 or so. I'm not sure about everyone's beverage preferences -- I have water (still or sparkling), 3-4 diet Dr Peppers, and of course beer -- anything else is BYOB.
