Looking for four players. We will play 3.5 just because I am more comfortable with these rules. Also, there will be no internet rolling, or whatever, I am using the honor system, and am assuming that the four characters I choose have a set of dice at home...
This is my first PbP, so we might start off a little slowly, but I hope I can make this a fun game. Also, I know that most of you probably have the Pathfinder adventure path magazines, so you know what will happen. Please keep character knowledge and your knowledge seperate :)
Any takers? If so, include your prefered class and race, and I will see if I can work things out with the other potential players. First four to give a definite yes are in.

Hi there!
I have a character from another Pathfinder pbp which died after about nine pages of game.
The character is linked from this profile.
Just realized that he is 2nd level on site but I believe I have the 1st level info on computer.
Elf wizard.
My roleplaying is also available from this profile under recent posts. I think. lol

If you like, I can e-mail you a file on binders that I took from the WoTC site. It also has information from their boards that gives the abilities of the vestiges. Since WoTC put it out I believe it is all public material.
My idea for a character is someone that was studying in a temple to be a cleric but found a book on vestiges and secretly began binding them. When it was discovered that the book was missing he fled the temple with it. If this is suitable let me know.
I don't bring dice to work so I will probably use Invisible Castle for rolls if that is okay.

Cool!
I have the character at level one on my mac.I just have to decide whether to change the name and then amend the background based on our game's adventure.
If we use RotRL, I will have the elf move from Korvosa, perhaps on an errand from the Acadamae.
Cheers!

Sure, my email is joeyhendrix14@gmail.com
And it will be fine if you use the Invisible Castle, just give me what you roll, don't worry about the link to the website. :)

By the way, I will not be too tight about how many trail rations you have, we can just assume you can live off the land. So Leliestraat, don't worry about buying trail rations (I saw it on your profile)
BUT!! If you have special items like Leliestraat, a sunrod for example, I would like you to buy it and display it on your profile in advance.

Hey! Looks like I made it in time for fourth?? (I hope I hope lol )
If so, this will be my first PBP. I have years of D&D experience but this will also be my first pathfinder game (and I have No pathfinder mags so everything will be a surprise for me : )I will start looking up more info on pf games but any info or input on where to look will be appreciated.
I am willing to play anything (but am leaning towards druid presently) but if I could know more about the intended adventure that would help decide. Also, silly question but, where does everyone get those cool character pics from (yes, I am pretty much a pathfinder forum virgin ;-)
D'oh, Answered my pic question. Was easy, just pick one...:P

No problem. I'm currently working on creating a fighter, who might multi class into rogue or swashbuckler later.

It looks like we are ready to begin, so, without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, I give you, a Gamemastery adventure path: PATHFINDER! Rise of the Runelords, Burnt Offerings, by non other than the great James Jacob:
As the annual Swallowtail Festival begins in the small town of Sandpoint merchants from all sorts of lands begin to set up their stalls. The slight breeze reminds the many locals gathered in the church square that autumn has begun. Among the many locals are some adventurers of a sort: Andrea Greenholt, a skilled dancer and user of magic; Leliestraat, an elf from foriegn lands; Corlath, a well-built human who wields two rapiers with skill; and a hooded figure, who many at the festival avoid. All four hear the opening speeches given by Mayor Deverin, Sheriff Hemlock, Cydrak Drokkus, owner of the local theatre, and Father Zanthus. All four are present at noon for the telling of Desna's infamous story about how she fell to earth and in return for aid given by a blind child, she transformed her into an immortal butterfly. All four are there when the hundreds of swallowtail butterflies are released into the air. All four hear the sharp retort, like the crack of thunder, that slices through the excited crowd, as Father Zanthus calls attention to the center podium. This is where our story begins...
As a stray dog that has crawled under a nearby wagon to sleep starts awake, and the buzz of two dozen conversations quickly hushes as all heads turn toward the center podium, where a beaming Father Zanthus has taken the stage. He clears his throat, takes a deep breath to speak, and suddenly a woman's scream slices through the air. A few moments later, another scream rises, and then another. Beyond them, a sudden surge of strange voices rises: high-pitched, tittering shrieks that sound not quite human. The crowd parts and something low to the ground races by, giggling with disturbing glee as the stray dog gives a pained yelp and then collapses with a gurgle, its throat cut open from ear to ear. As blood pools around its head, the raucous sound of a strange song begins, chanted from shrill, scratchy voices.
Alright, let's have some Spot checks!
