Reading todays blog, is there any plans to publish "Assault on Falcon's Hollow" from this years Gen Con delve adventure?
The adventure is entitled Hungry Are the Dead and is scheduled to be released as part of the Pathfinder Modules subscription in September.

Here comes the sun, doo-doo, doo-doo!
Here comes the sun, and I say:
It's all right...
You know, when I first read the "doo doo"s, I heard the Twilight Zone theme in my head.
*shakes fist*
Damn you, Joshua J. Frost!
Welcome to the club. That guy knows how to get Paizo customers' ire up, doesn't he?

We need some kind of HTML standard to put tones in web-pages easily, so that confusion no longer abounds. Wouldn't that be grand?

I thought Chris Self was supposed to be the subject of our ire these days. What with that announcement tease.
I gotta say though, it's working. I really want to know what they're announcing, now!

MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
Meme
Pronunciation[meem]
–noun
a cultural item that is transmitted by repetition in a manner analogous to the biological transmission of genes.
[Origin: 1976; coined by R. Dawkins, Brit. biologist]
It's seriously pronounced "meem"? That's craziness. I always said may-may. Now I know I've been making an ass out of myself this whole time.
Also, your tactic would have been less effective if I hadn't been hearing about Paul McCartney in Quebec City nonstop the past couple of days!

When I saw it, I thought of The Jetsons' theme song, with the vibraphone echo.
"Meet George Jetson, doo-doo-doo-doo."
Of course, none of these songs really make sense as references. The blog is talking about people looking forward to arriving at a big city destination, so it should parody a song with a similar theme.
"When you're a geek and life is makin' you weak, well there's a place I know: Gen Con!"
or
"I'm packin' my dice. I'm drivin' all day. Drinkin' Jolt (a quart of it): Gen Con, Gen Con! Those Pathfinder games, I'm lookin' to play. I want to make a bard for it: Gen Con, Gen Con!"
or
"One night at Gen Con and the drow are massing. Can't be too careful with your d20."

If you're currently pronouncing "theme" as "thay-may," you should probably stop. :-)
No wonder I always get funny looks in my English classes... :)
I'm blaming this, along with all my other mispronunciations on my French heritage. Yeah. It's not my fault. It's my ancestors' fault! They should have been born in England!

... if you're basing that on French heritage, you should be pronouncing it [mem], though, not [meme]... ;)

I have always pronounced it as [mem] as in, the French word for "same" since most of the memes populating the internet are just that...the same.

There are no plans at this point to release a version of "Assault on Falcon's Hollow." It wouldn't make a very long adventure, anyway, since it's a pretty different beast than the delve we ran last year.

James, even if it's just a thread here on the messageboards about what happened (story details, enemy strengths, etc), and how to re-create it, I'd (we'd) love to hear it.
My players have really bought into Falcon's Hollow (I'll write another thread on that) and I'd love to throw an assault at the town so the characters can defend their new home!
Cheers!

There'll CERTAINLY be a blog post about the event. And it's looking like a variation of the event will indeed be working its way into the first part of Hungry Are the Dead after all, but in a much more fair and less deadly manner.

Awesomeness.
It's possible my group could even handle the "more deadly" scenario considering they have raised a small kobold army. Kinda ;)
You know those eggs and babies that were down below the monastery....yeah. The paladin saved them and vowed to raise them 'the right way'. Learned Draconic just for that reason. Free meat from the town butcher certainly helps, though ;)
