Ok, we all know the beta was sent to print. As I understand the ongoing process, they will be only minor adjustments between the beta and final release.
Why then are people still coming up with suggestions and changes to the rules?
I think this board was a great idea but that it as now served its purpose.
Would it not be time to close the messageboard and open a new one with a new purpose?
We need a clear path so that we can all focus our collective minds in a useful direction.

Na na na just the opposite...Now comes the fine tuning, and that needs more input, not less...

Agreed
Keeping the input flowing, especially at this point, is essential to making the PRPG as perfect as it can be. With all of us out there going over the alpha releases and soon the beta, it'll only mean the the 2009 release is gonna be stellar! Lets keep it up!Keep those dice rolling!
Whilst the sentiment is true that until Pathfinder gets to the third and final print it still needs input, I do think that Paizo are faced by a difficult if almost impossible situation. Gamers on the messagboard are of very different views on what would be better.
Contradictory views on skill consolidation( some for and some very against, I've suggested a possible method to serve both camps without doubling the book size), Class abilities, (fighters seem to have come up a great deal) Multiclass characters, favoured class, starting HP's and many, many more.
The good ideas( although they are good idea's in my views!!)will be lost in the mountain of idea's and opinions. The writers at Paizo must have their own opinions.
Very few of the opinions that I have read back have justifiable reasoning behind them and the reverse is obviously the same.
