Maybe they should change it to favored class get the +3 AS A CLASS skill BONUS, +1 to any skill picked up after first level to new class skills.
Given how much slower the acquisition of skill ranks now takes place, I'm completely comfortable with the way Paizo has set it up. Besides, it makes character creation MUCH less complicated.

in 3.X, when you wanted to play a fighter/rogue, you nearly allways start with rogue at first level for the amount of skills and your character could hardly stand as a fighter.
With the Alpha rules, you have exactly the same multiclassed character no matter what your first level was, and the character creation is really easier.
That's a very good improvement !!

Nah. The way it is now, it doesn't matter at all in what order you took the levels. I think that's a very good thing.
In fact, I'd expand that (and did in my own games): No more full HP on first level (but you do get an extra helping of con bonus to compensate), and int bonuses are retroactive.
The occasions where the order you took your classes and levels in matters should be as few as possible.

It just seemed to an easy way to get easy skill bonuses. Actually, looked at what classes it would take to get all the skills as a class bonus, It was ranger, rogue, and bard. It only left Fly as not a non class skill. So, if you want a sing Batman here you go.
You still need at least one skill point in those skills.
And putting one skill point into a lot of skills might be neat at low-levels, but later, getting +1 or +5 to knowledge(dungeoneering) won't make that much of a difference any more.
