Being that I am military, married to a fellow gamer who also holds a job, I will get Pathfinder regardless of how it turns out. I may even pick up 4E after a playtest, but I won't invest in it. I cherry pick what I like and what my friends will go along with from any source I get my hands on and like. And I have no qualms about changing any rule if I feel it will make the game more fun. So while I might not like some things in PRPG, there is nothing so great that it will turn me off to it.
What he said (except I'm not in the military and my wife thinks D&D is a waste of time).

Sorry to hear that hogarth. Have you asked her what else you are supposed to do with your spare time besides waste it? I really don't care to spend my time off working. ^^
I don't even like spending my working hours working. :)
I think my wife would prefer that I didn't have any hobbies that exclude her, although I think she'd make an exception if my hobby was playing the stock market and I made a million dollars. :)

Personally...I'd be happy if Pathfinder was like 3.75 D&D rather than 4E. I just do not like what I see about 4E so-far, and while I like SOME of the ideas they have, like consolidated skill lists, and always on attack powers, no spell failure, and all the race write-ups, there's enough other stuff I hate that I'd want to keep playing a game like 3.5 where I can Dual Wield and Trip people no matter what my class is.
