This doesn't really answer your question, but I know a lot of companies don't like AmEx's polices in certain situations. I worked at a hotel, and if someone said that they didn't charge the room, AmEx automatically revoked the payment, no matter what. It didn't matter if we had the imprint of the card that they gave us at check in and the customer's signature. AmEx would refuse to pay. This was the most glaring policy, but there were many more that made the management pull their hair out at different times of the year.
To expand on this discussion.. I wish Discover was a payment Option.
