Is Adabar's favoured weapon the crossbow in general, or a particular type.I've agreed to one of my players proficiency in his god's favoured weapon.

I don't see why you'd need to limit it to a particular type of crossbow (such as a light crossbow), so any crossbow should be fine.

Yup. Any crossbow is good for Abadar worshipers. Light crossbow's probably the most common choice though.

Clerics should already be proficient in the crossbow. It's a simple weapon unless you're talking about a hand or repeating model.
