Stig will use one of his CLW potions for the rest.

"Tenser, git haur!"

"Rut?"

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

that dog'll hunt.

Male Human Wizard 17 (Conjuration specialist)

What's behind that door?

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

In a dark room on a four-poster bed lies a figure. Dessicated, or more like mummified; shriveled yet animate, the pitiable thing is chained to the posts. Long matted grey hair, and of slight bone structure; the bent pointed ears marks her for an elf. She looks like she died in the desert, yet her eyes, though rheumy and clouded with cataracts implore unto you:
"Wah-turr..." she begs in a raspy hushed cracked voice dry as a midday wind in the Sea of Dust...."give...me....wah-turr....please..."

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

thunder and wind and tempest comes like it does in Texas like a thousand knights' lancecharge. I have to turn my computer box off for a while, or it could get fried.

Spell-wise, I am out of CLW. Still have the healing wand in pinch. Damage-wise: I think Stig still has some damage, but not certain about anyone else.

I am quite injured good sir. 16 of 24

Added another level of douche to him. Hee. Human Paragon!

Yuck. SEVEN.

Yuck. SEVEN.

That's what I was thinking...

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

Never saw it...guess I should check it out. I hate ripping off stuff I never even saw. Storm blew over...my house is still here. Sheesh!

Male Human Wizard 17 (Conjuration specialist)

"What in the Nine Hells..." Altai walks up to the thing in the bed, taking a closer look.

What's this? Is she undead, or just off in a bad way?

Also, I haven't seen Seven either.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

She looks, for all intents and purposes, to be mummified like a bovine or horse that fell dead in the desert, skin stretched taut over bone.
But her eyes...her imploring eyes...still seem to hold within them life.

Male Human Wizard 17 (Conjuration specialist)

I'll give her some water. I'm not unchaining her yet, though.

She reaches trembling hands to the water.
"th...th...anky...ou..."

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

The thing in the bed drinks, and drinks of the water.

Male Human Wizard 17 (Conjuration specialist)

Altai pours the contents of his waterskin slowly into the mouth of The Thing In The Bed. "No problem, ma'am. Now, who are you?"

Male Human Rogue 14

Does she have bed-sores?

Beldan stands looking, horrified.

Male Human Paragon 3 /Evoker 6 (abjuration&enchantment barred) ---37,300XP

Umm...I'm hurt over here! Little assistance please.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

She drinks, and begins to change. The withered dessicated taut skin stretches and fills and unfurls like a dry waterskin again filled.

Nice bedside manner, sawbones!!! ;)

"Oh. Oh! Thank...you... thankyouso...much."

Male Human Wizard 17 (Conjuration specialist)

"Uh, sure... Glad to be of assistance. miss. How long have you been trapped in the bed?"

Male Human Rogue 14

Instant elf chick – just add water!

“Oh! I’ll help you!” Suddenly re-motivated, Beldan starts working on the chains.

Open Locks?: r11+10 = 21

"The sun rose and set two times since I've been in this room...although it seemed an eternity. Oh, thankyou so. Though fresh water....(ur..urpsh) makes me ill, at least I have my full faculties."

The locks come free under your jiggling. She rubs her wrists.

"Oh, thankyou. Thankyou so much." She sits on the edge of the bed, wearing a subdued brown sarong.

Male Human Rogue 14

“Are you … a sea elf?” asks Beldan hesitantly. “We found a sea cave downstairs … I could carry you down there…”

Male Human Paragon 3 /Evoker 6 (abjuration&enchantment barred) ---37,300XP

She has legs, Beldan. She can walk on her own. Ouch, my arm....

"hee hee hee! I think I can manage..." she stands, her long legs reaching all the way to the ground. "Ah, yes..." she still seems a bit wobbly. "Okay! I can do this."

"My name is Ocean. Yes, I am a sea elf."

Male Human Wizard 17 (Conjuration specialist)

"Doubtlessly you'll be glad to hear that we killed the sea ogre in the basement and his undead shark friend." Alwyn shakes his head in amazement. "Two days out of the sea did that to you. Wow."

Riese wrote:

"Yes. Yes she does," says Beldan, staring at the afore mentioned appendages. "I think I was thinking of mermaids. You know, I always wondered how you would -" He suddenly realises he's still talking aloud and stops.

She smiles at you with that almost vacant allknowing look.

Blessed Boccob! Miss ummm.....Ocean was it? Obviously the boys here have never viewed a female such as you and judging by the rapidly diminishing space in their pants they find you somewhat fetching. Don't mind them. Testosterone make for bad brain juice.
What did the bastard want with you and how did he manage to capture you?

"Merrow? Good.

I knew of none. Here?
Yes...well, it's the weird of the lungfish. Some of our folk swam up rivers and learned the trick from a fish that hibernates when the sky keeps its water from the...um...blighted waste...desert....from....you know, where you folk live. From the land. "

Male Human Paragon 3 /Evoker 6 (abjuration&enchantment barred) ---37,300XP

Damn, this arm! The pain is intolerable!

"One of your landfolks' boats does appear here. On the fili ithichta...um...the...tide of...when...Hmm.. when your nightsky light is a circle. They come here. What is that big light you call it?

Lights flash from the boat, and from the house, and from the boat. Then the boat births a little boat.
I came up to this house, to see what it was about.
I walked around in here some, then colors came at me, a world of colors, then I slept, and then I was chained here on this thing." She points to the bed.
"He was mean. He asked me things...said he would leave me here...why was he so cruel? Who is that man?"

Riese wrote:

"The moon. And we killed that man. He ... wasn't nice."

Chewing on what's left of the wizard and gnolls.

That is a bed, land dwellers use this to copulate upon and for resting. The man was evil, but why was he killing you? Did you find out what was going on here? What is on the ship?
I will stoicly bear my injured pain until such time as one of my companions deems that I have suffered enough and provides some assistance.
What do you know of this place?*Gestures broadly at the house around them* AhHHhhh! My Friggin' Arm!! GGrrrRRRrrrr. *Tries to look stoic*

Male Human Rogue 14

"Stop looking at my pants Riese. Oh, is your arm hurt?"

Did the blood all over the place give it away? I shall try to bleed less. Gahh! *Tries to staunch the flow of blood from his arm a bit better*

goin' to bed now, I hate missing all this good RP!

"I don't know. I only looked around a bit, then.....the COLORS! Oh, it was awful. I don't know what this place is entirely.

It looks like one of your landfolk dwellings, though I've never been in one.
Everything is so...so straight. Lines. Everywhere lines.
Why do you landfolk build everything in straight lines? The sea doesn't.
So disorienting."

Meh...;)

me tired too.

This can go on for a while though; I think I have a spot of writing to be about for the "next installment(s)."

Ocean was "Oceanus" in the original work; I thought the character needed a little retooling.

Becton, having checked on the others, and hearing the conversation - comes into the room to silence Riese's agony. He patches up his arm and applies a little wand Healing (1d8+1=7).

"Alright now, fellas...give the lass some room. Ms. Ocean, I'm a healer - as you may have guessed. Afore these lads start questioning you too much, are you in need of aid; I can create more water if you need it to keep going."

"Try adding some salt to it," suggests Beldan helpfully.
