Thanks for posting these, 33 pages is a huge time investment! I look forward to perusing this in detail.

Thanks TS!

There's some great stuff in there (especially since you went to the trouble to formally "document" the changes). I plan on incorporating some pieces into my new and improved player's guides- thanks!

Just checked it out at speed-reading level. Can't believe you banned Mordenkainens Disjunction. At the game table, thats very nearly the only tool I have as a DM to put my munchkin players in check.

There were both things I liked and disliked in the document, but thats to be expected given different gaming experiences.

Thanks for sharing.

Very nice collection. Good presentation as well.

Might I suggest you use it as a resume and apply for the WotC online "mag" team leader job? ;-) Well... I am assuming there is a team.

First, thanks for the comments everyone, it's very important to know that my efforts are appreciated.

It should be noted (maybe I should have done so in the pdf itself) that any one, all or combination of variants in my pdf can be used at once. Although a couple I had to suggest that they be used with other variants, such as Divine Spells Known/No Spell Lists and Character Points/3.75 Damage Reduction.

Well in that case, I suggest that you house rule MD as a 1st level spell. Otherwise it's not very effective at anything until high levels!

Thanks, I actually got a couple comments on other boards that they didn't like the background. Eh, it was just an afterthought.

Or at Paizo! I wonder if they're still thinking about that 3.75 project...?

I can see why the background isn't liked. Something with a little less contrast in itself would probably do a bit better.

But it sure beats the plain white background. And it doesn't make the eyes bleed.

I still say "you done good."

Very well done! I love rules variants - especially ones so well thought out and presented. And the price is right, too. :-)

Shadow Lodge

Excellent job TS. I really like some of these rules and will propose them to my group. You have made a measurable difference in my game!

Congrats!

Liberty's Edge

These are fantastic TS. Very impressive. Some of these will definitely see play at my table.

Thanks for all the positive feedback!

Now that I have gone through most of these, I do have a question.

Why was Dimension Door increased to 1 minute casting time?

Everything else I can figure out what you were going for. But this one has me puzzled.

Mostly for completeness' sake. The spell isn't complained about as often as teleport, but it does fall into the teleportation family.
