Female Human

Vilya begins to tiptoe down the steps.

"Now that we're all better, lets keep moving." Kaldren takes up his magic spear and moves to the top of the steps ready to aid Vilya and keeping alert for danger.

Listen Check (1d20+4=7)
Spot Check (1d20+4=17)

"Wait Kaldren. The others will be back soon enough. This goblin has yet to reveal his knowledge."

Female Human (Shoanti) Barbarian 2/Ranger 2

"Vilya, we should wait for the others before straying too far."

You move down the steps and enter total darkness. You know longer can see your group behind you. You can hear the faint moans in the distance and a shuffling on the ground. You also hear for your group calling you back to them.

If you wish to continue quietly please roll a move silently check.

Your hear the faint moans in the distance and Vilya's foot steps as she decends.

You see nothing but darkness ahead of you. You even can't see Vilya anymore.

You move in the darkness at a slow pace as quiet as can be. As you move you hear the moaning get louder. The shuffling is very close to you now.

The goblin laying on the ground stops crying finally. I talk I talk, don't kill me please. Me no harm. I talk I talk.....

Sorry for the delay had computer issues, all better now!!

Female Human (Shoanti) Barbarian 2/Ranger 2

Triska hesitates at the top of the stairs. Should she go down in the dark after Vilya, or wait for the others to come up?

That girl has no sense of self-preservation, she thinks.

Spoiler:
Broad steps lead down into an irregularly shaped room filled with a forest of twelve thick granite pillars. The vertebrae of some large beast lie shattered about the floor in a haphazard fashion. There are three other sets of broad stairs and exits, one for each compass point. Otherwise, the room appears empty, except for Vilya hugging the wall slowly making her way into the room and a goblin with an arrow sunk into his body, he is slowly dragging himself away from Vilya as fast as he can heading down the western exit. On the south-eastern diagonal wall someone has written in common" Certain death this way!" with an arrow pointing at the southern exit. On the northeastern diagonal wall someone else has written in common "Even worse this way!" with an arrow pointing to the northern exit. Unlike in much of the rest of the dungeon, the ceiling in this room appears to be about 20 feet tall.

Me not know, after earth shake we stay here where it is safe. Lots of creatures moving around after big shake, not knows whats they are, we stay away from them and hide heres.

"Very well, Mog. You'll become of our tribe. You'll get food but you must swear undying loyalty. Betrayal shall be punished mercilessly."

Toranaga turns to his companions, "Vilya and Triska are past due. Let's go after them. Mog, you go ahead."

"Yoshi, Vilya go there and hurt goblin crawl there in big room. Words on walls too. And doors. And tall things for keeping roof up!" So answers Dron the scout proudly.

"I see in dark!"

"Copy that, Dron."

Can I see Vilya?

Female Human (Shoanti) Barbarian 2/Ranger 2

Can any of us see Vilya?
Regardless, it seems we've all caught up at the top of the stairs now.

Triska gestures at the steps with her bow. "Let's go. I don't like standing around here."

She waits for everyone else to go ahead, then brings up the rear.

Liberty's Edge

No one but Dron, Kraeg and now Mog can see Vilya. Your light source was dropped during the battle. It is still lit if anyone wants to get it or you could light another if you want. Right now all that you see is pitch black.

I'll rely on the others. Can't afford to light the area at this time. There may be other enemies around.

Dron grabs a stone off the floor. He wipes a bit of his own blood on the stone and casts for Gorum's aid.

"light stone Gorum."

Then he lobs it into the room near where Vilya is.

"Vilya just there, now you see too. Right?"

You hear a loud thunk as the rock hits the wall and then the ground. It is still pitch black. Vilya in the back ground can be heard cursing under her breath when she hears the noise in her direction.

Kaldren collects the fallen light source and holds it high in one hand while grasping the magic spear in the other, "Enough talking, lets get moving." He heads on in the direction Vilya went.

Dron follows Kaldren. It saves on thinking to have others making decisions.

"Move no further vermin. Or you die." Toranaga calmly declares.

Female Human (Shoanti) Barbarian 2/Ranger 2

Triska moves into the room, bow ready, scanning for any more threats or details.

Spot check (1d20+3=4)

If the goblin does not heed Yoshi's call to stop, Triska will shoot it to prevent it escaping and warning others of its kind.

Attack (1d20+5=11); Damage (1d6+1=3) (if needed)

Dron pulls a dagger from his belt and prepares to take down the goblin. he waits to see if Yoshi wants it dead.

Liberty's Edge

Mog jumps in front of everyone and puts himself between you and the wounded goblin. They whisper between each other for a minute and then Mog gets up and steps to the side looking down at his dead comrade. He dead, he monster chow now, we go now, I'm hungry, find food.
He looks at the group waiting.

Triska sees nothing other than what was stated before.

What's Our Marching Order? Mog should not be up front.

"Dron, would you say a few words for the departed?"

Toranaga whispers to Dron and out of the earshot of Mog, "Check if the goblin is really dead."

By the way, have we recruited an arcane caster?

Not as of yet, I will put up a new thread to see if we can get someone!

Kaldren is drawn by the large granite pillers and steps up to examine one closely. "Ontdek magisch," he utters casting Detect Magic.

Piller Search (1d20+2=12)

Dron checks the goblin body over.

Heal check (1d20+6=11)

"Gorum make sure you got this one." Dron stabs it through the neck with his dagger.

"Dead Yoshi", nods the half-orc.

Toranaga observes the reaction of Mog.

The pillars are all old, smooth and dingy looking. They once might have been things of beauty with images of great battles, heroes of old or pictures of exquisite scenes from nature but after many many years of traffic through here and who knows what else their only purpose now is to hold the ceiling up. You detect no magical auras from the pillars!

Liberty's Edge

Mog watches as Dron finishes off the already dead goblin with fear as he might be next if he is not careful. Me follow where ever you go, help find food for you I will. He then steps over next to Toranaga away from the half orc feeling a little safer for the moment.

Liberty's Edge

I'm going to Paizo Con this weekend so I will be busy with that but I am going to try and keep up posting so keep your eyes peeled.

Liberty's Edge

Ok, I'm back from 2 days of gaming and had a blast. Got to meet all of the Paizo staff and even got to play in a game run by Wolfgang Baur!!! If your can make it to Seattle next year for the next con you should come, its alot of fun and you get a bunch of cool Paizo prizes! Next year should be even bigger with even more Paizo support! I believe they all had fun too!

Dron goes to see what is down each tunnel.

"Be loyal, Mog and you may live to rise high among your brethren."

Female Human

Vilya rubs her cheek against the stone wall, running her fingers over each brick and block. She grins happily.

Female Human (Shoanti) Barbarian 2/Ranger 2

Triska follows behind Dron, taking up a watchful post at each tunnel mouth that Dron explores.

Dron decides that enough is enough and begins to go down the tunnel. He carries his greatsword before him and swishes it from side to side.

Toranaga brings up the rear. Mog moves ahead of him.
