Orelan |

Please post if you are still interested in this game so I can move things along and let me know what your going to play so I can get the right balance for both groups if all of you are interested!
-ArtIf you are interested please start creating your character ASAP!!
By the looks of things we would need some more fighters, healer types and rogue types!
Art == Orelan :-)
So yes, still interested, and character done, ready to go.

Dron Drox |

Here is Triska, barbarian archer of the Shundar-Quah, ready for action! Just need to put in some personality notes and background, once MythrilDragon and I have hammered it out.
Would you mind being my minder, since you have about double the brightest and you are a warrior, both criteria in short supply in our party?
Cheers

RickyFlame- Welcome to the game! I will get back to you on the feats you asked about after I get home from work!
Since we are FROM Golarion, do we get one of the Bonus Feats described in the RotRL Player's Guide eg. Big Game Hunter, Varisian Tattoos, etc...?
Just asking so I can finish Artemis' Feats off.

MythrilDragon wrote:Sargon X, I still want to tie up are backgrounds if the DM will keep us in the same group. Perhapse we could have the same father but different mothers and our hatred of him could be a comon bond?I like that idea. I guess it would mean Shoanti clans are matrilineal then, since we're from different clans. Or better yet, your clan (Skoan-Quah, Skull Clan) is patrilineal, Dad is Skull Clan, so you are too.
But my clan (Shundar-Quah, Spire Clan) is matrilineal. My mother was given/sold to Dad as a bride (to seal a peace, perhaps), and she always resented not being able to make her own choice. And he always treated me (as non-Skull, and a woman to boot) as a second-class citizen. Growing up, I promised myself never to be put in Mom's situation, and vowed to reclaim my birthright. So I stole Dad's armor and weapons and ran away before I reached marriageable age.
How does that sound? And why do you hate him?
Also, how old is Kaldren? Triska is 17. So are you an older or younger half-brother?
Sounds good, I was planing on playing him around 27, so Id be your elder by 10 years. Our common bond could be are respect for our mothers. I hate good old dad becasue of the way he treated my mother, replacing her with a younger bride and using her as a servent to tend to his new family and second child. On top of that I took after mothers arcane lineage, she didnt have the gift but her father did, something that dad dosnt have and that always made me second class in his eyes. So when you ran off, I came after you. Not to bring you back as Dad commanded but to help you get away. And so our adventures began. What do you think?

Artemis Grayson |

This is my Evasion Pally.
I still have to put together his Feats and Skills, but I'm gonna do that tomorrow after I've had some sleep.
g'night
So I had my whole Character Sheet typed out in my Profile (it took me an hour or so) and then hit [Save Changes]. I thought, "Whoops, I didn't do a copy on that ... oh well I'll just copy it when it saves". Bad idea!!! It DID NOT save any of the info I had painstakingly made over the past hour and a half and so now I have to sit down and do it all again. It will get done, Artemis IS made, but I don't have the patience right now to sit down and type the whole thing out again.
Sorry

I did the same thing this time. And yes, I know I said I wasn't gonna until tomorrow, but my stupid OCD wouldn't let me go to bed until I did it. =(
So yes, my character is made and Stats are up!
EDIT: And NOW I am going to bed, it's only 12.30am... early one tonight ;)

Dron Drox |

Sounds good to me. Triska's a bit independent-minded, so we might get some good sibling rivalry going on - older brother trying to look out for her, while she does everything she can to prove she can take care of herself.
Is your father's "younger bride" my mother, or did he have three wives? Guy gets around!

Triska, because you and Mithril Dragon are getting such a good background I think its probably wise to keep us separate.
I'll develop the cleric in game and pick PC's to listen to as we play. That will allow the PC's to fight over Dron's actions.
Cheers
OK, no worries. Triska might not be the best choice anyways, as she tends to be pretty quiet, and might feel uncomfortable ordering someone else around. But I have the feeling we'll get along well, though!

I was thinking she could be the younger bride. maybe thier is a third and that is what drove you to run off with his battle gear, so he would stop going off to fight and bring back more wives. :). Have you thought up a name for dear old dad yet?
I like the rivalry aspect, Alwasy struggling to set thier own natural order but outsiders better beware our wrath.

Dron Drox |

When it comes to Dron, everyone will end up ordering him around.
Remember we start out having adventured together already well here is a sample of what may have gone before;
Dron sits and waits. One of the other customers drunk and loud starts making obnoxious comments about Triska.
The wizard in the party nods at Dron, meaning for him to get the drinks in.
Taking that as a sign of wrongdoing, Dron jumps out of his seat, slashes the customer's throat open, "GORUM!" and looks back at the wizard for further orders.
It's like having a rottweiler that can heel.
Sorry heal.
Cheers

Rough Character Ideas:
Varisian Favored Soul(Shelyn)/Sorcerer(Enchantment)/Mystic Theurge
Dwarven Cleric (Torag, Crafting/Magic item creation)
Chelaxian Wizard (Conjurer or Necromancer)
Halfling Rogue/Sorcerer/Arcane trickster
As you can tell, I love playing casters. Any particular character concept going to fit better than the others?

Are you allowing home-brewed vestiges? If so:
Vestige level: 1
Binding DC: 15
Special requirement: no
Legend: Cypharis was a powerful rogue, scout, and adventurer for hire in the age of Thassilon. After discovering a strange mirror in an ancient ruin, he impulsively pressed his hand to the glass. The mirror, a pre-Thassilonian relic, drew his soul from his body and imprisoned it in the space between the planes. Upon discovery, Cypharis’ lifeless shell was presumed dead, and buried. Cypharis, without a mortal body to return to, wanders the space between planes, looking for a willing host that would allow him to experience the material world once more.
Sign: Your eyes become black and pupil-less, and your fingers elongate by slightly over an inch.
Influence: You become arrogant and impulsive, making split-second decisions based on instinct alone. Cypharis relished life, and anyone binding him finds themselves looking for thrills, and generally not worrying about anything, living in the moment.
Granted abilities: You gain some of the mortal Cypharis’ skill with traps and locks, as well as the ability to wield some of his favorite weapons.
Rogue’s Friend: You gain Open Lock as a class skill when Cypharis is bound. Treat as if one had four ranks in this skill.
Sprint: You gain +10 to your base land speed.
Evasion: (as rogue ability), if a reflex save is made on an attack that would deal half damage on success, that attack instead deals no damage.
Cypharis’ Weaponry: You gain the benefits of the MWP: short sword; MWP: handaxe; and MWP: kukri feats.
Please tell me if this is overpowered, underpowered, or OK if you are allowing it.

I not too familiar with vestiges, binding or factotum, if you would point me to the right books I will be able to give you a answer! I am open to most things as long as it does not mess with party balance or fun for the others!
Binders and Vestiges can be found in the Tome of Magic; while the Factotum is in Dungeonscape.
