That's good James. You just keep picturing them. Love the image. Nurture the image. Now, slowly, walk over to your sketchpad ...

I wonder if Mr. Keegan is susceptible to the Jedi Mind Trick

Picture a group of Kobolds, leaning over a bridge and gleefully watching the sack plummet towards the icy waters below. From the sack comes a lonesome 'mew'.

My last X example was, "X is for xylophone playing xorn on Xanex."

You have been charged with plagiarism and I demand back royalty payments of Biscotti.

Liberty's Edge

She's off the hook with the x defence.
There being a finite number of words beginning with x, most things play xylophones in an alphabet book. It's the only way to have alphabet books without smiting x from the language.
Professor X? Probable Xylophone player in the Marvel Alphabet Hero Book...

What about X men?

Liberty's Edge

They start with a "t."

Scarab Sages

Z is for Zambulah Zombies in strange Zoos

I looked through four books, including the Tome of Horrors, Call of Cthulhu, and Dangerous Denizens, and the only Z monster entry not a Zombie was the Zambulah, an animal.

It's the way that said drool remains so unsparing, warm and bubbly that really turns the stomach.

This is a scary place.
