Damn, Amael, that would've been nice, since I'm right on the Arlington/Falls Church border. I actually found some NoVA folks on these boards, but a lot of them are out Fairfax way, and it's tough for me to make a regular game due to work & kids. I'm actually thinking that the Encounters dealio that Wizards is doing is a good idea - a regular two hourly weekly meet up, with prep work all done, and a fluidity that allows players to swap out week to week if they can't make it. Too bad I don't like 4ed.
Where are you KT? South of Leesburg meaning Middleburg? or more towards Chantilly? FYI, there are some other Virginia threads around somewhere in the connection forum if you're looking for people.

Not trying to sell you on it, but 4e isn't all that bad, but it depends on your tastes too. Maybe your local gaming store can do a Pathfinder encounters kinda deal. I feel you on the work part, don't have any kids yet...

Sterling here; Countryside, to be more precise.
I'm actually looking for a group that can get together more than every other month now (I'm in a great group, but real life intervenes more frequently anymore.)
If there are any who can get together about every other weekend or a weeknight, let me know here. I'm good with Pathfinder, Savage Worlds, Warhammer RPG (2nd ed.)...
I'm willing to put my head out on the block and offer to run some AP's for a group.

I'm in Alexandria, off Franconia between Van Dorn and Telegraph. My game died, so I'm currently game-less! I'd love to find a group to game with regularly. Been thinking about dropping by Game Parlor in Woodbridge to see if there are any PFRPG games down there, but it would be awesome if I could find a group closer to home :D

Sup, Billz. I am still in Arlington and we still play out in Fairfax. Our current weekly is based on a boat and if someone doesn't make it they just are crew that week and whoever shows gets their turn above deck. It seems to work pretty well as we have been cycling through different players every week.

I used to be in Ashburn but we decided to buy a house and ended up in Round Hill. So I guess to be more precise, I'm south of Purceville. Its a haul for all you easterners ;) But I do have one player that makes the trek from Annadale. I don't know if that's a compliment to my GM skills or the company we keep. ;) Probably the latter. LOL
If I lost Annadale and Wasteland, I think I'd go crazy looking for players. There doesn't seem very many out this way. Thanks guys for making the bi-weekly trek out here.
It looks like there is enough DC Metro players that you could get a group together. You guys should find a GM or one of you step up as GM and get a game started.

I would run, except I ran my own game for the last six years or so and it seemed like I could never get my head all the way around it and I got seriously burned out. I'm kind of tempted to have another go at it, but am feeling like I need to play again for a while before I try that again.

Hey, Xyro/Jeff - Glad to hear you guys are going strong. Your weekly game is Tuesday, right? A couple of hours on a weeknight is better for me that an whole day weekend game. If you ever need a fill-in and can let me know in advance, I'd be happy to try and help out.

We currently do 7 / 730 until 11pm. Not sure if that is too late, We have 3 stable players and 2 are about to go to the middle east so there is always a opening. Are those times good for you, if so I will let Ender_RPM know?
Every Tuesday? That's impressive. I'll shoot you an email; I think I still have it.
