::clicks his heels together three times::

Since this is the off-topic post on the off-topic thread, if I say something on-topic, would that be threadjacking?

And what is the topic? I have trouble locating it when people aren't yelling.

Gods.

I would certainly hope not.

Trey, you're relatively new here, and I have to say we're glad to have you. Your posts are always a welcome sight, filled with wit and good humor!

Thank you very much, though I suspect I gained some easy points with you because I knew what andouille and boudin are ;) (as a side note, I've actually made them--no place to buy them up here!)

I have logged a lot of time on political blogs, and finally, a few weeks ago, I shook them off, but once you get used to going to boards, it's hard to break the habit, so I came over here. I know the whole 4e thing is driving a lot of people crazy, but obviously, it is still a really great place, and I hope we will see it get even greater.

Thanks again for your friendly words. Things are better for me since I stated hitting these boards.

Liberty's Edge

Some of us are skirting the edge of the stormy seas of madness. Some of us are yelling at the storm and waves from behind the helm of a three-master (hope you make those Balance checks). Some are like a good friend of mind and madly paddling through the storm in a one-man kayak. And a handful of us have reached the eerie calm beyond the storms, where madness has become a strange breed of sanity indeed.

Anybody got a surfboard?

I've got a sweet 9' G&S made back in '68, but since I've moved inland it's become a shelf.

Some of us can just walk on the ocean floor, while fish nibble at our deacying, negative-energy empowered flesh. Just like those pirates in that movie - you know, the one with the chick and the sword fighting.

You couldn't swim, and floating on the current wasn't your style, so you sank like a rock and slept with the fish. Too bad you were sleeping on the kraken's alarm clock.

You did state that we should commit violence against these boards, didn't you?! I couldn't figure out who the prime instigator of all this mess was until now. Each of your funny insights really a code... a code that instructed your sleeper agent posters to cry havoc and let slip the terriers of thread-bashing. Am I... am I going to be killed now because I know?

Please off the poodle avatar. Sharoth'll get ideas.

I come to Off Topic to find out what is happening in the world. News, current event, weather, that kind a thing.
