I gotta go with the Morkster on this one. Thank you.
(A co-worker of mine had a brilliant reply that fits here. When someone would mention an mental image that was just too terrible to contemplate, he would jab himself in the forehead with his finger and say, 'Excuse me while I poke myself in my mind's eye!' With our co-workers, he said that a lot!)
Faindriac claps his book shut, nods, and pulls out the map from the package he is carrying. "Did the exterior of the building look like this? If so, then this map may well be of the bathhouse itself. What is your proposal for gaining entrance to the facility?"
Holdrus Rippor
I think we need to hit the bathhouse during the day. It seems to be a nighttime activity so I would think that day would be a better time to hit it. Less people in there and all.
I also fear that my weapon's kin could be removed before nightfall. The others seem to be gone already...

Faindriac showed teh map to Ka-Chik, then to Holdrus, with the same question. "Does the outside of the bathhouse look like the building depicted on this map? If so, this might make our entering much easier."
"Hm, enter toDAY? instead of waiting for tonight? Possible. Though since you disposed of the jackal carcasses away from the building, I wouldn't be too worried about them expecting us. Still, any surprise would be a bonus. What do the rest think?" He asks, turning toward the rest of the group.
'Well, if you want MY opinion,'
'Sigh. Not NOW Cair.'

What does Holdrus think here, DM? As a player I see similarities but Holdrus saw the buildings first hand. What Would Holdrus Think?

What does Holdrus think here, DM?
I don't think it would be a stretch for him to make the connection.
Also, isn't it already pretty well nightfall, with everyone having rested and recovered spells / points?
Tik reaches under the counter and tosses Kirrish a skinny padded shirt (oil canvas with cotton batting) with a second set of armholes torn into the jerkin. The armor is encrusted with dried blood, but serviceable. “Did not coin,” he mumbles.
Aso will probably bump into Issiki upstairs, Tik isn't big on doors or privacy.
Issiki
Gee thanks ;)
"Ah, and good day to you too!" says Issiki in his usual breezy manner, "I had the great pleasure to meet some of our folk, odd though some of their rites were. It was nice to be amongst people again. But the spirits have carried me here, obviously back to the soul-less ones. You are still with the strange band we escaped with?"
Faindriac Fellstar
Now where's he going?
Faindriac looks at Shenker and says in a deadpan expression. "You really don't want to know."
He raises an eyebrow. "It is both interesting and disturbing. Rather like Radik himself. More than that." He shrugs. "Is likely too much information. Trust me."
heh, 'Trust me', On Athas that has to be the equivalent of 'Your screwed'.
I can see it now, 'Trust me' 'Would YOU buy a used Melkilliot from this elf?' Me neither. :P

"Hrrrmmmm....soonas these fellers are through being done talking to their Iron Maidenses, and......(gazes upstairs).....whatnot, we need to be about business. Or we can sit around baiting eachother, one another, into it turns into a big grand meleeze."

Aso to Issiki: "We're g...g...g...gonna go save the wo...w...w..world. You wanna come, we're d...d...d...downstairs."
Aso heads back downstairs to tell everyone he found Issiki, forgetting his original reason for sneaking off.
Downstairs: "G...g...guys! You wouldn b...b...b...believe who I frackin' f...f...f...found."

MalaKi, having spent his down time “watching over” Kha-Chik-Chik-Ka, readies himself mentally for the coming battle. He will go with whatever plan is offered. The sense of dread that he has been carrying since reentering Raam is growing.

hehe if we are going somewhere; I hope somebody comes and wakes me up; otherwise will get up when rested; pray and rejoin whatever activity the party seeks to purge this city of evil tryants. When I get up I will check the jackal jerky and see how it is progressing. Dry wind is more effective than heat; but heat is ok in the process so shouldnt take to long except that it probably is a bit thick as I only pulled strips off and used my claws since I dont have a knife.

Faindriac expresses guarded pleasure at seeing Issiki again. (On Athas, if it's too good to be true, It's probably going to eat you.) But seems genuinely pleased to see him again, and is most assuredly interested in anything that Issiki can tell him about the tribe that he went with, and the powers they manifested. (Both the Way and spiritual.) HE is keeping an eye on the others however, and when it looks like everyone is ready, he thanks Issiki for his conversation, and joins the group, indicating his readiness.
Fain will go along with whatever plan the group decides on. Though he does recommend that if we send in someone early, they be the warrior types. (The better to last longer in a fight in a small group, and strong enough to easily open the door from inside if possible.)
